Jane Taylor Millinery – Bespoke, Bridal and Vintage

With an undergraduate degree in embroidery, many people assumed that young British milliner Jane Taylor would go on to make theatrical costumes, however, her love of classic hats and vintage materials have led her to instead create beautiful hats, fascinators and headpieces at her studio in south west London…

Jane's beautifully classic designs are embellished with vintage feathers, veiling, lace, gems and antique adornments which are continuously sourced throughout Britain by Jane. Each hand crafted piece is unique. Jane works closely with clients throughout the design process resulting in a tailor made piece to perfectly suit the clients’ specifications, while maintaining their personality and sense of style. Many of her clients had never worn hats prior to wearing Jane's pieces and are now regular visitors to her studio.

Jane has collaborated with leading British designers such as Caroline Charles and has worked with well known figures in the music industry to create bespoke headpieces used in music videos and television appearances. Jane's pieces have featured in leading fashion publications such as VOGUE, Elle, Tatler and Harpers as well as established bridal magazines such as Brides and Cosmopolitan Brides.

I just absolutely adore the ingenuity of this exceptionally talented designer.  These head pieces make the most uber-glamorous and stylish of pieces and just ooze individual character and style.

Beautiful, elegant, vintage inspired pieces….
