**Hot Off The Press** TART, at 40 Winks, London, 23 January 2010

Announcement:  All Vintage Lovers! Pull up your stockings, adjust your suspender belts, and sit down on the edge of your seat to read this (be careful not to fly off the edge with excitement mind!) – oh, and you'll need your diaries too, and be ready to cancel any pre-scheduled appointments for Saturday 23 January 2010, because you'll be living it up in decadent style in one of London's most eclectic, eccentric and uber-stylish venue's, with a whole host of other vintage lovelies…

Tart

Launched in November 2009, Tart is a simmering orgy of fun, fashion and frivolity aimed at girls who want to put some old fashioned glamour back in to their lives.

Hosted at the decadent 40 Winks (pictured below,a two-bedroom hotel, described by German Vogue as "the most beautiful small hotel in the world"), by the dandyesque David Carter, pin-up queen Fleur de Guerre and Vintage Secret’s Naomi Thompson (who sent me details of this event and invited me to tea today! How sweet!)

Recommended by Style Bible, the Saturday Times Magazine, Stylist, Glam.com, Le Cool, Amelia's Magazine, MyMetropole (Tart came 2nd in their list of London's top five places for afternoon tea), and with a rave review from the marvellous India Knight, Tart is the ultimate afternoon of naughty self indulgence, seductive style and decadent pampering.

It has quickly established itself as one of London's must–do monthly events.  Blogger Mademoiselle Robot has a great feature on TART here – where she interviews Vintage Secret's Naomi Thompson.
