I've been wanting to feature a halterneck wedding dress on here for sometime now and last week. It feels like I've been looking for a while, but then last week, I was lucky enough to receive a submission from the lovely Christina at Elemental Weddings. Christina photographed this pretty Bride Jenny and and her Husband Paul at the stunning Prestonfield House in Edinburgh during their March 2010 Black Tie wedding.
Jenny's is our second Scottish Bride to feature this week, and her beautiful and very flattering halterneck wedding dress is called "Huesca" and is a Pronovias number…

"I have no
idea when it comes to flowers, and was too far away to research, so I
sent Lianne of Roseparks pictures of my dress and the girl's dresses and she came up
with the most perfect creations. Lianne instantly suggested sweet peas
when she saw my dress as she said the ruffles would be the perfect
complement."

"We deliberately didn't style our wedding, we chose the venue because
we love it the way it is. From there, we just chose things to complement
the place, without detracting from its spectacular look. The only thing
we really had a clear idea of, was that we wanted to make the event
feel like a dinner party, so the dress code was black tie and the
ceremony didn't start until 3pm."
Prestonfield House, Edinburgh
"…we chose the venue as it's our favourite place in our hometown, we had one of our first dates in Rhubard and have spent many amazing Hogmanay parties there with close friends. Plus, the venue's style is us all over."

"Don't stress, let the suppliers do their thing, they're the experts.
I put my full trust in mine, explained my vision and sat back. Accept
that things will go wrong, but just laugh. We had numerous things not go
to plan on the day, but only we knew about it!"
