Love My Dress Wedding Blog is extremely proud to welcome on board our latest sponsor ~ Rebekah Daley, artist and illustrator and creator of Fine Stationery and Bridal Portraits.
I have been aware of Rebekah for a good while now – ever since my friend Cat commissioned Rebekah to create her 08.08.08 wedding day stationery and create some stunning bespoke canvasses that Cat had on display during her Wedding Breakfast – see below – stunning or what?! We ran an interview with Rebekah back in February – you can read it here. More recently, Rebekah has become a good friend – Cat and I attended the
Designer Wedding Show with Rebekah and it seems we share the same love of all things vintage…
"I am obsessed with vintage fashion and have collected (and worn!)
vintage clothes for years as well as vintage vogue illustrations so they
are my greatest inspiration. One of my invitation designs, 'Gigi', was inspired by a
dress Grace Kelly wore while, ‘Astaire’ was inspired by an old Vogue
illustration. I adore old black and white Hollywood films and want to
give our invitations that vintage glamorous feel. I have my sketch book
with me all the time as I find new ideas pop into my head constantly…"

"I have also found that sometimes my couture clients have inspired me to design a new collection which is great. I am die hard romantic and very passionate person. I am so happy everyday to be in this industry and to spend my days drawing and painting and dealing with clients planning for the happiest day of theirs lives."

"We are a specialist company who are absolutely passionate about weddings
and special events who are experts at producing something unusual and
exquisite for clients. Our chic stationery is perfect for the most discerning and stylish while
our stunning bridal portraits make an elegant memento of that perfect
day. A world away from other stationery and inspired by 1950s vogue
fashion plates Rebekah Daley designs have an air of elegance and vintage
glamour from the golden age of Hollywood."
"For the discerning who appreciate every creative detail we offer the
full range of co-ordinating stationery in a wide range of colours and
finishes while our extraordinary 3d table décor range will certainly
have your guests talking. Whatever you choose from the Rebekah Daley
range, whether it is stationery or a beautifully drawn sketch, you can
rest assured that you will be acquiring the unique."
"I absolutely love working with on couture commissions as I can be
really creative with the designs . We work very closely with our
clients in consultations. We discuss their wedding and ideas in detail
and talk through various design concepts and their budget. Once we have
agreed on an initial design for an invitation I then sit down and draw
and hand-paint the images.
I do not use any computer graphic programmes.
This makes our designs completely unique and of course keeps with the
traditional method of fashion illustration. This season we are thrilled
to be designing for a Funny Face inspired wedding and Tango themed
invitations for the UK leading Tango dancers Kim Schartz and David
And it doesn't just stop at weddings. My lovely friend Cat who co-writes for Love My Dress, but has recently been busy becoming a First Time Mum, commissioned Rebekah to create these adorable birth announcement cards – how absolutely divine are these?
