It's not often that I find myself referring to a dress I'm blogging about by it's own name, but I couldn't help but find myself talking about this particular bridal gown last night to my Husband, and noticing I was referring to to it as 'her' and calling her 'beauty'.
Flippedy-do!
Now my Husband graduated in Fashion Design and knows a nice frock when he see's one. And this one certainly got an approving nod last night, after I'd made him stare at my laptop screen to fully appreciate what lay before him; "Look. Look I tell you! She is beautiful isn't she?!". Husbands reply to me; "I can't see the Bride…?". Me back to Husband; "No! Not the lovely Bride! The dress! She is beauty….", I replied, smiling pleasingly :)
But I digress, so let me get back to telling you that this extreeeeeeeemely beautiful gown was worn by Bride Helen on her wedding to Husband Matt, which took place on Sunday 4th April this year (Easter Sunday), at Northcote House, Sunningdale Park – close to the Ascot racecourse in Berkshire.
'Beauty', is actually a design by Cymbeline, and was purchased from Windsor and Eton Brides. Bride Helen told me…
"I loved the vintage style, the colour and the fact it was like nothing else I had seen – I love everything vintage and shabby chic and our wedding was always going to reflect that…"
