Any of you long-term Love My Dress followers may recall an interview a ran some months ago now with Milliner/hat designer, Uma Turan. Uma is a London based Milliner who specialises in creating some of the most stunning statement headpieces I've seen.
I just HAD to share some of Uma's utterly gorgeous new creations with you; I just adore these theatrical and daring designs – that at the same time are both beautifully romantic and very wearable too…
"For these last pieces, I was influenced from early 19th century romantic naturalistic jewellery. I do make bridal pieces including bridesmaids as well as all formal occasional headwear like races or parties. I work very closely with my clients and my hats are one off pieces.
Usually my clients come to my studio in Richmond we decide on the design that would suit them and we start from there. My hat prices start from £89 and go up depending on customer’s requirements…"

Exquisite aren't they? I love that more Brides, and indeed Wedding Guests are being braver these days when it comes to accessorising – opting for more adventurous looks and seeking style in different types of hats and head pieces that before now they might not have had the courage to experiment with.
