Hi All! First off, apologies for the quiet day yesterday – I have had a case of flu to contend with over the past few days. It's not been good! I needed a rest, and so yesterday I spent most of my time doing just that :) And to make up for the quiet day, today I have a little bit of prettiness to share with you all 🙂
Today, I'd like to introduce you to Ridley and Dowse – a design partnership between jeweller and accessory designer Vivienne
Ridley and Susannah Dowse, a fashion and print designer. Between them,
they have a design heritage that includes collaborations with Boxfresh,
Topman, Harrods, Ted Baker and Wayne Hemmingway.
So what have they to do with weddings and why am I blogging about them? Well, with a lovely collection of jewellery, decorations, accessories and homeware, that are all produced ethically in Britain, and with two designers at the helm, who believe that the beauty in
an object comes in part from how it is made and by whom – AND – with cuter than cute stainless steel cake decorations like the one below, I knew this was one of those fabulous little finds perfect for a Love My Dress feature 🙂

Wouldn't these look fab at any wedding? You can purchase stainless steel numbers, as well as letters, and an array of other pretty designs too! 🙂 …
The Ridley and Dowse partnership was launched in Autumn 2008 and over the last two years, they have built an extensive
customer base with numerous stockists and a strong online presence with
their own online shop and sales through Etsy and NotOnTheHighStreet.com. Their British stockists include The Village Shop at Cowley Manor,
Cheltenham, One of Vogues top 20 British Boutiques and the prestigious
Saatchi Gallery.
Retail prices start with cake decorations at £4.25
ranging up to £60 for large signature necklaces.
I just adore these gorgeous necklace designs – wouldn't they make a perfect gift for a Bridesmaid? The designs come in either sterling silver or brass and hang from a sterling silver chain. The rather exquisite 'Ruby' carousel horse design below left costs £48.50 and the Esme design below right retails at £38.50 per necklace…
But my personal favourite has to be the Dixie dancing girls design below, £48.50…
There are many more beautiful necklace designs on the Ridley and Dowse website. Do Drop by and have a look at the other lovely, unusual and very modern British designs these two talented ladies have created —> www.ridleyanddowse.co.uk 🙂

Much Saturday love – and check back this afternoon for more fabulousness 🙂
Annabel xXx 🙂
