Tobi Hannah is an up and coming new London based designer who specialises in creating short and tea length wedding dresses that are targeted at the petite, destination and younger Bride. And I think for any readers that fit that profile – you're sure going to like what Tobi has on the designer dress menu!
Tobi Hannah's designs caught my eye instantly for their slightly unconventional, and yet sophisticated appeal. The Spring/Summer 2011 collection entitled 'Brode', and pictured below, blends an elusive youthful look with smart tailoring and structural craftsmanship resulting in a collection that would appeal to the fashion forward Bride.
I just love this elegant number below, aptly named 'Grace' – this satin tea-length wedding dress with bow embellishment set at the natural waist-line comes in at a very purse-friendly £550…

And below, the 'Marionette' design, a voluminous baby doll wedding dress with bow detail and continuous inner layers of tulle and organza – £550 – and at these prices, I think these fabulous frocks would make for a beautiful second wedding dress, or reception dress, or a head-turning first choice wedding dress for those on a more limited budget…
Below left, I just LOVE the oversized flower corsage set in at the waist of the 'Croseta' design – thigh length mini-dress with a bateau neck and structured skirt – £460 – and right, the 'Daria' – a sweetheart satin wedding dress with structured ruffle edged tiers and organza hem – £585…
Below, at £500, the 'Dahlia' sweetheart taffeta wedding dress with soft ruffle edged tiers would most certainly be turning the heads of many a wedding guest…
….as would the 'Iilena', a v-heck, short sleeved tea length wedding dress embellished with oversized roses – a floral fancy of a frock if ever there was one, and fabulous find at only £500…
The 'Maricon' short satin wedding dress above, with embroidered bodice and a structurally tiered skirt retails at £550 – and would look super-duper with a pair of cute Mary-Jane style heels…
One of my favourite designs sits below – this is from Tobi Hannah's classic range and is called the 'Eglantine' – what an elegant evening dress this would make for any Bride…
These more sophisticated designs below would suit any fashion loving younger Bride – or indeed, any Bride with one fine pair of pins! 😉 All three are Tobi Hannah classics, going clock wise from top left, they are the 'Ceqi', 'Rosales' and the 'Naif' dress…
