Every now and then, something so special comes up by way of a blog submission that I could cry tears of happiness. No, really! OK, OK…. I'm a little bit of a romantic when it comes to weddings and such things, and I adore each and everyone of the real weddings featured on this here wedding blog, but never have I fallen so in love with a 'Cherish The Dress' photoshoot as much as I have with this one.
These incredible set of photographs feature gorgeous newlywed Camilla, and her horse Randor, and were shot by up and coming Scottish Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer, Julie Tinton. And can I just take this opportunity to ask you all to take a moment to visit Julie's site – I'm not sure if my humble opinion counts for much but if you ask me, this Photographer is seriously going places! Her talent shines through in each and every one of her quite stunning photographs – most certainly one for all you Scottish Brides to check out. Expect to see much more of Julie's work on Love My Dress in the coming weeks and months.
Here is what Bride Camilla had to say about this heart-warming photoshoot – and doesn't she look out of this world in her Jenny Packham wedding dress?…
"My Photographer, Julie Tinton, was fantastic & so patient with us; I am not a natural in front of the camera and Randor kept trying to cover me & my beautiful Jenny Packham wedding dress in slobber – difficult to look into the camera & smile whilst that’s all going on! I know these photographs will be a super keepsake for the future…"

Camilla's Husband Kevin joined Camilla for the photshoot…
"What started out as a Cherish the Dress photoshoot quickly became a Cherish the Horse photoshoot instead! Randor is homebred by my parents and I have known him since the first day he was born (he still sleeps in the stable where is was born). My sister & I were mad keen on the cartoon ‘He Man & the Masters of the Universe’ at the time & that is were his name comes from."
"Randor is now 25 (although he doesn’t look it) and retired from competition back in 2002, although is still very happy to go out for a hack and behave like a 5 year old! My Father used to ride and compete on his mother. I am not sure that I can put into words how much Randor means to me but we have grown up together & even left home together when I considered a career with horses in an Eventing yard. My husband ‘Kevin’ laughs about the other man in my life who is also dark, tall & handsome! ☺"
"I had wanted Randor at our wedding back in June (our Springer Spaniel ‘Bree’ was our flower dog) but logistically we just couldn’t get him there so a post-wedding shoot was always going to be a must. The majority of the Randor photo’s are from our second attempt as I had stupidly forgotten how unpredictable horses can be; the first attempt finished with me performing a gymnast dismount after Randor reared!"
Just absolutely beautiful hey? Camilla's wedding will be appearing on Love My Dress in the near future. I'd like to thank Photographer Julie Tinton for allowing her gorgeous images to be featured on Love My Dress today :) Please visit the Julie Tinton Photography website for further information.
