"Julia Jeckell, a brilliant hair and make-up artist whom I’d worked with on the first Liberty in Love shoot, contacted me to see if I would be interested in collaborating on a bridal fashion shoot. Hmmm, I thought… a chance to work with some uber-talented wedding suppliers, shoot in an amazing location and dress a gorgeous model in some to-die-for gowns with some gorgeous accessories? Yes please!
To complement both the feminine vintage and classic styles of gowns used on the shoot, I mixed bold but still romantic accessories from Liberty in Love, with more delicate pieces of jewellery. The Lilah vintage bracelet and Marlene vintage pearl necklace looked beautiful in the lingerie shots, whilst the Jane Taylor Millinery hair accessories looked divine teamed with the romantic lace dress. I also used hair accessories, jewellery and shoes by Stephanie Browne, Halo and Co. and Freya Rose…"

"Every shoot needs a photographer, and we decided to work with Wesley Tristan, a London based wedding photographer. We knew Wesley from some of the beautifully creative work that he’d done on past fashion shoots, so we knew he was the man for the job.
For the location, we chose The Old Vicarage Boutique hotel set in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside in the picturesque town of Southwell. Having recently undergone a major redevelopment and refurbishment programme, this is now a gorgeous boutique hotel that features an eclectic mix of New York loft meets vintage chic. The perfect setting for our shoot.
Although we’d originally planned to do a vintage-style shoot, once we had fallen in love with The Old Vicarage Boutique hotel, this set the scene for a more feminine vintage meets classic bride style."
"Working with our colour theme of soft creams and purple, Zoe from Nottingham-based Zinc Floral Design created a beautiful tear drop bouquet of Vendela, cream rose, Ocean Song, lilac rose, Amnesia and dusky pink roses…"
"The model, Hannah, wore amazing gowns from a selection from Southwell-based bridal boutique, The White Room, including designs by Blue by Enzoani and Jesus Peiro. In particular, I loved the Jesus Peiro dress for its timelessly elegant design, classic lines and more than a hint of fairytale.
Julia went for a soft, classic hair and natural make-up look to enhance Hannah’s already fabulous features…"
