One of the lovliest people I have met in my blogging journey is Eliza Claire. Eliza Claire is a London and Kent Wedding Photographer whose style I simply adore. From the soft tones to the way she is able to encourage her subjects to relax so naturally in front of the camera. Eliza is just such a sweet lady too.
I was delighted when Eliza sent me these lovely photographs of Liz and her Fiance Chris, frolicking around happily on Whistable Beach 🙂
Liz emailed me to tell me how this shoot came about…
"Chris and I had a great time on our pre-wedding photoshoot. Having previously visited the lovely town of Whitstable we thought it they perfect location as it meant we could celebrate many of the things we love – the sea side, quaint little antique shops and good food!
We wanted to have fun on our shoot and it was an opportunity to wear some of our finery. Out came my gorgeous 50s prom dress and Chris's green fedora. We also like the idea of a juxtaposition: posh get up and fish and chips on the beach…"

"We chose Eliza Claire because we really liked her photographic style and when we met her she was lovely. On the day of the shoot, Chris admitted feeling a bit nervous about being the centre of attention. She immediately made us feel very relaxed and we loved that it didn't feel like a photoshoot. We were just pottering about the town and beach. She captured some good, more natural shots of the two of us interacting. We are especially pleased with the photos taken in on the beach of us dancing and eating fish and chips…"
We would absolutely recommend having a pre-wedding photoshoot. It is a great opportunity to get used to the camera and for your photographer to gain a greater understanding of what you are looking for. Having barely any photographs of the two us where one of us isn't looking ridiculous, it's great to finally have some decent shots of us together!"
