Hi Everyone, I thought I'd share this quirky, retro style engagement shoot with you this afternoon – something fun to end the working week on 🙂
I love how these photographs capture the essence of Camden Town. These photographs were sent in by the lovely Sassy of Assassynation Photography and capture soon-to-be wedded couple Chris and Louise. Louise told us about their experience wandering around Camden very early one morning…
"Chris and I fancied having our engagement photos taken around Camden as it's a very special place to us. We first met six years ago when we were working in the same office in Camden and our first dates were in the pubs around there.
Camden may seem crazy and over the top to lots of people but we both feel very at home there because so many of our happy memories are intertwined with it. When we first started going out, we used to sneak off on secret lunchtime dates to Primrose Hill, just around the corner, so we fancied some pics there too.
We loved our shoot with Sassy – seeing a deserted Camden Market at the crack of dawn was amazing. We especially loved wandering around Primrose Hill. In a perfect world, we'd be living there amongst the celebs and millionaires!"

"When Chris proposed on Christmas Day in 2009, the first thing I said (after 'yes') was: 'Please can we have a small wedding?' We both really wanted to go off and get married in a tiny register office service with no fuss. I was a bit scared of organising a big wedding to be honest and didn't want to be centre of attention.
But once we wrote our guest list we realised that the smallest our wedding was ever going to get to was 70! So instead we decided to make it as personal as possible. We hope that it will be very informal and fun. We know it will be very emotional. And, to my surprise, I've loved the whole creative side of organising a wedding and Chris has been brilliant – he designed our invites himself and has come up with lots of ideas…"
