“I am inspired by everything and everyone around me! I have never been the type of designer that sketches first, I just start making pieces and see how they turn out. Sometimes pieces take a turn in a totally different direction to what i think i am aiming at and turn out to be best sellers!
I’ve always been involved in making things from a very early age, my grandmother was a fantastic tailoress and made everyones wedding dresses in the street! I tried a course in fashion at college but didn’t have the patience to cut out the pattern and then sew it all together and you had to sketch it all before you could make anything which just isn’t my thing, so millinery suits my style of working on a small scale without the sketching!”

“We also have an online boutique and also the option to order anything in bespoke requirements. Distance is no object. I recently had a bride in Canada order from me and a lot of my brides are based around the country and are appy to liase over emails and pictures to get what they want.”
“I studied constructive textiles at Uni which was very fiddly designing and weaving fabric and involved a lot of calculations and brain work! When I left, I did a couple of millinery courses as a bit of fun to let my creative side run away with me. I thoroughly enjoyed it and found the designing and making part easy and you didn’t have to sketch a thing!”
