Bridal Inspiration ~ Pretty Pastel and Coral Pink Perfection…

I've a real visual treat for you this afternoon by way of this simply beautiful bridal inspiration shoot Beauberry House Bridal Photo Shoot – a celebration of peachy coral coloured lace lovliness. It's a beauty!

These images by Fanni Williams of Fubumedia were sent in by Wedding and Event Planing and Stylist Andri Benson of Always Andri Wedding Design {who is like one of theeeeeeee loveliest people out there who I've so far met on my blogging and yes, real life networking travels!}. You  may also recognise Fanni's name too, because she took these WOW factor images of the Royal Wedding.  Yes, she really was there and that close – and with a very big camera with a mahoosive long lens 🙂

Andri, who styled this whole shoot, told me about these pastel pretty pictures…

"Fanni and I met at an industry party last year, we kept in touch via twitter but later realised that we were neighbours living only 5mins from each other. Not long after that I discovered a great British wedding dress designer Naomi Neoh after visiting Modern Bride whose studio was only 5mins from me so I started to think it would be great to get together with some local suppliers at a nearby venue to put on a bridal inspiration shoot for eco conscious brides looking to book local suppliers.

There are a wealth of fabulous suppliers out there from all over the country, many of whom will travel far and wide, but if you are an eco conscious bride and want to support your local community then using local suppliers for your wedding is the way to go. I approached them both about it and as Fanni is keen to expand her wedding portfolio and Naomi comes from a similar theatre background as me, both of them were totally up for doing a shoot…"

"Naomi's dresses in gorgeous silk fabrics and handmade laces have a real timeless elegance so my first choice for the venue with its period features and modern touches was Beauberry HouseI love the white room on the first floor; it’s the perfect blank canvas for any colour scheme."

"I decided that I’d really like to do something based around peachy, coral colours with touches of lace and pearl, so put together a mood board which I showed to Fanni and she loved. I then got in touch with Ruth at Stem Flowers who I’d worked with on a wedding last year (and who literally lives down the road from me) to do the flowers. I gave her some fabric swatches from Naomi and she took it from there coming up with some lovely simple arrangements based on block use of colour…"

"As a wedding planner I’m constantly on the lookout for great suppliers and would always encourage my brides to get the best suppliers for their needs, even if this means paying a bit extra in travel expenses. However, if you are concerned about the environmental impact of suppliers coming from further afield then you needn’t worry, as you can often find some hidden gems locally. By bringing together this fabulous team of wedding suppliers from just a few miles radius of each other I hope it will inspire brides to do the same in their local area; venues often have local suppliers on their recommended suppliers lists, so that can be a good place to start – Stem flowers is a recommended florist at Beauberry house, for example.

Wedding and local community forums can be a great resource to a bride too – I met a bride using Amanda Roberts for her wedding hair & make-up and when I did a little research on her I found a number of glowing reviews on a local area forum about her.

Ultimately you should hire the best suppliers who are right for you, your wedding and your budget, but don’t overlook the smaller names closer to home as you may just find a secret hidden talent!
