"The role of the stationer (or in my case anyway) is mainly studio based.  It is very rare I get the opportunity to follow my work around the country and never a glimmer of having to dust the passport when it travels overseas.  So I always get a little excited when I finally get to see photography of the stationery (good photography that is and not my own hand-snapped approached) in all its styled glory.

I was contacted by Hannah of Sweet Dream Events to see if I would be interested in being involved in the first Luxury Wedding Showcase that she was busily organising that was held at Exquisite Bridal Couture in Lymington.  I freshly baked a collection of stationery especially for her from both the Printed Collections and The Vintage Drawer Collection and sent it heading in a southerly direction to Dorset.  I was thrilled to see the photographs that were taken on the day by wedding photographer Carrie Bugg, the gorgeous vintage styling and production was just so fitting for the collections…"

"Later that month I was invited to be involved with the Grace & Glamour bridal shoot styled by London Bride.  I hand made a collection of stationery especially for the shoot with lots of pastel shades and pink!

I adore how Charley has used the stationery and shown how versatile the linen collection can be and how it can be styled in a more contemporary setting and brought a sprinkle of pretty and a slice of glamour…"

"I have been overjoyed at the response to The Vintage Drawer Collection that launched in February this year. The collection is devoted to the idea of ‘re-cycling’ and ‘upcycling’ 1940’s and 1950’s table linens that have been a little unloved and hidden over the years.  Re-loved and re-made into keepsakes of prettiness that will keep their journey continuing through the coming years.

I have also worked on lovely commissions over the last couple of months from reception signs such as ‘Pimms o’clock’ and ‘Tea Dance’ to little violet filled seed pouches with printed words of sentiments."
