A Short Temperley Wedding Dress for a Retro/Quirky London Wedding…

Hi All, how does this blog post find you? I am feeling so rubbish today. The lurgy bug has consumed me again and I'm fit for nothing but bed, and it's gorgeous outside!! Good job I have blog content like this to cheer me up 🙂

These photographs were submitted by Dorset Wedding Photographer Greg Thurtle of TP Photography.

They capture couple Irina and Lorenzo on their wedding day in November last year, where they tied the knot at Chelsea Town hall, and followed with celebrations and a reception at Ishtar Restaurant, which according to the couple, serves the best Turkish food in London.

I love the 60's vibe of this wedding.  Irina wore a fabulous short Temperley dress

"I was looking for something that Audrey Hepburn could wear and something I could use after the wedding.  I also wore a Michel Uffie miniature top hat and veil, and shoes by Kurt Geiger and my jacket was from French Connection…"

"Lorenzo and I met at Xmas party, turned out we lived 5min from each other, the next date happened 4months after and in another 4months we were engaged!

Our wedding was more of a  mad UN conference as we had people from different countries, guess 'international wedding' was the main idea as Mr Fraquelli is half Italian-half Turkish and I'm Russian…"

Words of Wedded Wisdom..

"Remember why you're doing it. Have no-wedding -talks days, say every Saturday. Find some forum or community where you can complain about close friends and family because believe me at some point you'd want to. Have a plan B, C and D. Delegate.

Relax. Enjoy every moment of it. Plan something to do after the wedding so everyday life would be fun too. Oh and try to relax!"
