This week is a little deviation from purely bridal inspiration, you see I have only one thing on my mind right now and that is the Love My Dress Summer Soiree that is taking place very soon…

For those who have not heard (really is there anyone?) the soiree is a totally glamorous party being hosted on the 3rd August by the wonderful Annabel. This fabulous event will be full of the who's-who in the wedding world, as well as a few lucky brides-to-be.
So of course the recent chatter across Twitter, Facebook and the whole wedding industry has been about 'what to wear'. I can now sigh in relief as I have found 'The One', and I am so pleased with my posh frock (loaned from my mothers divine closet).

I am hoping to channel an Old Hollywood glamour look – I have the dress, I have the shoes, a very kind lady is loaning me some super special sparkles, I now just need to prefect the hair and make-up to transform myself into Rita Hayworth or another such Hollywood Diva.
But I promise Annabel no diva-like behaviour from me, I will ladylike all the way…hopefully!

So todays boards are dedicated to all you glamour girls (and boys) attending the summer soiree, I cannot wait to meet, mingle and be merry with you all.
