Saturday Catchup….

Hi peeps!  They say it never rains, it pours. And today my friends, it is pouuuuuuuring down. And I'm not referring to the rain outside either {I happen to love the rain! So bless all you lovely Brides due to tie the knot today, please don't let this rain dampen your spirits!}, I'm referring to my complete hard-drive failure of this week which has left me without my trustee Macbook Pro – my baby – my life, my whole entire everything is on there! Thank the sweet Lord I backed up everything to within an inch of my life before I finally got the black screen of death!

I had to go to my local Apple Store yesterday to sort out a replacement harddrive. I cannot rave enough about Apple Stores. They are such inviting spaces.  Obviously, they have been clearly designed to make me want to buy everything in the store;  lighting is perfectly positioned to make all the beautiful products that sit within my finger-tip reach look all shiney and sparkly and new.  Then there are the helpful assistants that don't get in your space but are always just 'there' when you need them. I can play on the latest iPad2 or the most powerful Mac computer with a mahoosive screen without someone breathing down my neck. And the 'Genius Bar', the area at the back of the store where you can book an appointment (online -very handy) to speak with a technician.  This is where I was at yesterday, perched on my highstool clutching on to my Macbook Pro like she was my actual baby, whilst the guy behind said Genius bar smiled and told me my harddrive needed replacing.  I think part of me died right there and then! How could this happen? My fabulous Macbook Pro that has not once let me down yet.  That will teach me not to ever perch my most treasured possessions precariously on to some ridiculous, wobbly, tiny space in the kitchen and attempt to work, again!

Anyway, I ramble, but sometimes it's good to talk about something not so weddingy related 🙂

So what have I got for you today?  I bought this pretty little skirt from Primark yesterday.  Isn't it sweet? It reminds me of my favourite place to be…right next to the seaside…

This week has been glorious in terms of weather.  We decided to go and pick the apricots that my Husband and eldest Daughter Eska have grown in the garden….the apples aren't looking bad either!  I took all these photos on my iPhone by the way, using the Instagram application
