I love these moody shots from Photographer James Melia. Any images taken by the seaside usually grab my attention (I adore the sea) but these ones seemed especially beautiful somehow.
This shoot was styled and curated by Accessories Designer Rebecca Scott, who owns the Eclectic Mix, which you really must go and check out for it's beautiful bridal and vintage accessories. The accessories used in this shoot are from Rebecca's Tresse collection…

"The Tresse collection is all about soft, feminine and elegant designs. Using only the softest hues and Swarovski pearls to encapture the beauty and enchanting appeal of the English coastline. Creating a fresh and sophisticated take on beach inspired jewellery…"
The flowers featured here are supplied by Celia and Co and the beautiful makeup was styled by the wondrous Jo Bilham…
The ocean was the perfect backdrop for this dramatic shoot…
"The ocean has an unmistakable presence about it with an energy that can ground any fleeting mind. It draws you in, absorbing in its rhythmic dance as the water shifts and rolls, allowing a stillness to be cast in the onlooker.
It has a nature as unpredictable as our own, shaping it’s surroundings and periodically reflecting it’s mood on the surface. An uncontrolled rawness to its strength yet with splendour of limitless proportions – there is no set stage for so continual an evolution."
One word. Stunning.
