This morning I'm excited to share some of what one of my favourite vintage inspired accessory designers has been up to recently. Flo & Percy create some of the most exquisite 'vintage inspired' bridal accessories out there. They were one of the first brands I discovered when I was planning my own wedding, and they remain very firmly one of my favourites. Their most recent body of work, The Magdalene Collection, is no exception.

"This year we were inspired by lace, catholic weddings and religious oil paintings. We wanted traditional with a fashionista twist. It has been so wonderfully received by our stockists and the press – we chose the the very talented Sarah Gawler as our photographer this year after we had seen some amazing wedding/fashion shoots she had done.

Jim from Aardvark Films did a great job putting it altogether with a little Italian mafia type music which suited the style of the shoot. Hair and make up was done by a lovely girl I found on twitter Jo Adams she did a fabulous job on our model also sourcing hair extensions for her, she went above and beyond for us…"
