An Interview with the founder of ‘twobirds’ ~ The prettiest & most versatile Bridesmaids Dresses…

"Morning all 🙂 Did you get to see my late afternoon blog post of yesterday? It is SUCH a beauty, I just have to give it a little plug here, I wouldn't want you to miss it 🙂

This morning I'd like to introduce you to an inspirational lady – an entrepreneur and designer who had one of those brilliant 'lightbulb' moments and as a result, is now standing at the mast of one of the most exciting brands in the wedding industry.

Ariane Goldman is the owner of 'twobirds' collection of beautiful, versatile, pretty and most importantly affordable bridesmaids dresses.  Now the thing is, most Bridesmaids dresses come in so many different styles, and shades, it's darn difficult to know what style might suit which Bridesmaid best, especially taking into account that not everyone shares the same body shape and different dresses flatter different shapes! I know, it can be a nightmare!  Ariane is a clever lady though see.  She had the idea that actually, all the Bridesmaids in any one bridal party could wear the very same dress, purchased from the very same supplier {anything that eases the burden of wedding planning is a massive big bonus in my book}, but that they could be worn in a completely different way.  And that was her big lightbulb moment.  A few years down the line and her 'twobirds' bridesmaids dresses are now stocked in several countries around the world, most recently the UK, and she is responsible for many hundreds of Bridesmaids looking frankly fabulous on their friends big special day.

With 4 lengths, 2 sizes and 19 colours, there really is a dress for everyone at twobirds..

With shops in New York, Los Angeles, Sydney, London and Toronto and a new collection recently launched online, Hatchbytwobirds, Ariane took a few moments out of her busy schedule to talk to me about her clever and creative line in Bridesmaids dresses.  That's Ariane above and below there, next to some of her pretty designs…

"I'd been a bridesmaid too many times where I spent too much money on a dress I never wore again.

For my wedding, I designed the 'twobirds' dress and the reaction was overwhelming. I knew I was on to  something so I quite my corporate job and started 'twobirds'…"

"'twobirds is all about comfort, ease and chicness within a woman's own skin. Enabling women to feel their best is the twobirds goal.

As for me, and my favourite way to wear a twobirds dress, it really depends.  Sometimes I love the one shoulder and other times I want to cover up and wear the sleeve…."

I genuinely really love the twobirds label. I have seen these dresses in the flesh and they are fabulous.  I love their versatility and all their prettiness.  And look! …they do cream dresses too! You could go all Pippa Middleton and have your Bridesmaids wear the same colour as you, or even slip into one of these numbers as the Bride yourself….

I asked Ariane what she feels is the best piece of advice she could share with a Bridesmaid…

"Be the best friend and supporter you can be as what you give out to those around you comes back to you full circle…."
