I just had to go and interrupt my blog post schedule today to share some really exciting news with you! 😉
I've been having to keep this quiet for weeks now, but as of yesterday evening, the news was made official, so I'm really pleased to share with you that I'm going to be one of the judging panel members for the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards, which you can read about here.
I can't tell you how proud, honoured and excited I am about this, not least to have the opportunity to sit alongside the members of the judging panel, which include top wedding dress designer Sassi Holford, You & Your Wedding Magazine Editor Miranda Eason, Sky News Presenter Sarah Hewson, cake maker extraordinaire Peggy Porschen, The UK Alliance of Wedding Planner Member Sandy Moretta and top wedding and event planner, Sarah Haywood – alongside the Wedding Industry Awards founder, Photographer Damian Bailey. Above all else, I am really excited to have the opportunity to help showcase some of the best suppliers we have in our wedding industry . I work with many suppliers and designers for content on my blog and their talent, hard work and passion never ceases to amaze and astound me. We have an incredible pool of wedding industry talent here in the UK and I'm excited to have this opportunity to celebrate that.
I can't wait for what is set to be a fantastic evening in January in London when the winners of the 2012 Wedding Industry Awards will be announced.
