Oh My Honey Couture ~ Beautiful, Bespoke, Handmade Dresses…

I just had to share a late in the afternoon post with you because these images are way too glorious to be sat in my 'pending' folder for any longer at all!  Louise O'Mahoney (who rather geniously named her dress making business 'Oh My Honey'} designs and creates beautiful vintage inspired dresses and is currently celebrating the launch of her brand new line in couture designs – some of which I'm sharing with you today.  You have seen at least one of these dresses before on Love My Dress – for it graced these pages last week on this fabulous Brighton Beach photoshoot, but these few images really grabbed my attention and I knew I had to share with you A.S.A.P!

These images are a mix of those photographed by the incredible Miss Aniela, as well as other professional photographers who attend Miss Aniela's photography workshops.  Louise donated some of these dresses for her photoshoot and what a spectacular result. I just adore these images, but especially the pink tulle number right below, named 'Florence'.  At £950, that's pretty excellent value for a wedding dress of such beauty, don't you think?

"Florence has the style of the elegant bride, with its sweetheart neckline, simple train and beautiful matte satin fabric, then the fun girly side bursts out from underneath the dress with the fabulous layered tulle petticoat…"

Available in sizes 6-20, florence will look amazing on all figures! The bodice is lined and boned to hold the shape of the dress and nip you in at the waist, and fastens with a zip at the back…"

"I have always had an interest in fashion and costume, and love mixing the two together for exciting creations, or retro inspired designs. My dresses take the timeless 1950's fashion elements and come together with modern or vintage fabrics to make fun, and feminine 1950's inspired dresses! Every dress is handmade with vintage or modern fabrics, taking the timeless 50's elements and giving them an Oh My Honey twist!

I pride myself on making beautifully made dresses and great customer care. All dresses are handmade in Brighton by myself or one of my skilled dressmakers. I aim to please so if you ever have any questions, or need help selecting a dress, don't hesitate to get in touch. Don't forget, because Oh My Honey is a small UK based company, I can make dresses in most fabrics and made to measure patterns. You won't find that on the high street!

One of the special things about ordering an Oh My Honey wedding dress is that all of my dresses are handmade to order. Because of this I can easily make small changes to the design, such as changing the colours of the dress or petticoat, adding straps, or other detail such as lace or beading or perhaps a lace up back? Email me for more information and prices."
