** Please note, this competition is now closed, and the winner will be announced later this week **
It's lunch time - wahoooo! And I'm all about injecting a big dose of cheer and generosity into the blog today, courtesy of the charming and delightful Hermione Harbutt. Hermione is an established bridal accessories designer based in Bristol, and regarded for her passion for creating stunning jewellery and hair adornments for the discerning bride.
I've met Hermione several times and she is such a sweetheart - every time I see her she's wearing one of her own painstakingly hand-crafted, and luxurious designs and each time I see that. And I'm always left feeling a little tiny bit awestruck.
"I aim to create beautiful heirloms of the future that aim to exceed all expectations..."
Hermione is one of those true artisan craftspeople I have a huge amount of admiration for. Each and every item she designs and creates, is made by hand, 'bead by tiny bead' at Hermione's own studio, using freshwater pearls, gemstones and Swarovski crystals. No appliques, beaded material patterns or ready-made parts are used, every single piece is created entirely from scratch using high quality, individual components woven into these intricate designs, ensuring absolute uniqueness to the wearer. Absolutely nothing is mass produced and only the finest quality materials are used: no faux pearls or plastic. That's pretty impressive.
Take a peek at the designer herself talking about what she does, how she does it and her passion for working with brides...

Hermione and I have been chatting for a while now about the idea of a little giveaway on Love My Dress and so over the Christmas period, we decided to stop talking about it and make it a reality...
And so today my lovely readers, I would like to invite you to pop on over to the Hermione Harbutt website and spend a few moments over your lunch break {aka, steal a good 20 mins or so during the afternoon when your boss thinks your working} browsing through this gorgeous colleciton of hair accessories. Because you know what? Lovely kind Hermione would like one of my lucky readers to wear one of these designs on her wedding day.
The designs themselves range from £295 to £1000 in value, and the choice of design that you would like to win is all yours to make...
Simply scroll through and select your favourite design {there are 6 pages full of designs in all - use the arrow to the bottom right of this page to browse through them all}. When you find the design you like the most, click on the 'more info' button to the right, where you will be taken to a page that gives you the name and price of the design. Then pop back here to Love My Dress and leave a comment below that includes the name of your favourite design and what you love about it :)
As much as we'd like to extend this competition open to everyone, we would like to restrict this competition to Brides to be only - we do hope you understand.
Easy-peasy-pie :)
Now you have until midnight on Sunday to apply for this giveaway, so lots of love and good luck to all of you applying! :)
Now I'm off to drool over this deco inspired headpiece and wish it was mine. I mean just look at all the work that has gone in to that!
To find out more about Hermione, visit the Hermione Harbutt website, where you will find the most beautiful necklaces, bracelets, earrings, hair accessories, tiaras, combs and pins and other delights.
Much love all,
