Top of the morning to you. Friday morning too. Hoorah! 😉 Did you get a chance to view the two new additions to the 1960s category on Love My Dress yesterday? Beautiful 60's chic inspiration.
This morning I have a cute little inspiration board to share with you that celebrates Spring. We're well and truly into the new season now if my garden is anything to go by, and I'm receiving lots of queries from readers asking me to supply information on Spring blooms {watch out for a post next week in response to that}. In the meantime, enjoy the handy-work of regular contributor Michelle Kelly of Pocketful of Dreams.
Check back at 10am for another interview with an inspirational business woman, and then again at lunch time and this afternoon for more wedding-day goodness. It's a jam-packed Friday, because I know you'd far rather be reading wedding blogs than working, right?

Hello folks, And welcome to Spring!
The nights are getting longer, the days are getting warmer and we're surrounded by pretty colours as the first flowers start to peep out. Spring is such a wonderful season, one I always look forward to as we brush off the winter doldrums and look forward to more cheerier times.
So today's inspiration post is all about celebrating the new season and I have chosen a soft yellow and pale green colour palette which is so synonymous with early spring and such a cheery combination. Paired with neutral whites and ivories, even small amounts of yellow will shine. Look all around you to find the shades you like, yellow is almost everywhere you look.

A soft and floaty bridal gown would look delicious with a messy side plait, dewy makeup and a bold coral lip Single stemmed blooms in the palest of yellows will brighten up any table, drop them into vintage milk bottles or jam jars for a laid-back burst of color Dress your maids in pale and creamy shades of yellow for just a hint of spring colour Create a quirky guestbook letter line, using twine and pegs. Provide your guests with yellow and green printed postcards and envelopes lined with pretty paper and ask them to share their words of wisdom with you for a long and happy marriage. Then pin their cards to the letter line.
Yellow socks and shoes ~ a genius way to add a splash of colour to your ensembles
Welcome guests to your reception with refreshing drinks that are tagged with their table numbers. Chilled mint lemonade would be perfect for a spring or summer occasion.
Are you ready for the sunshine?
