How much have I been literally chomping on the bit to get more blog posts out today! Hotel wifi has been conspiring against me however, but we're all good for the moment so let's waste absolutely no more time enjoying some beautiful and inspiring wedding day photographs.
These gorgeous set of photographs was sent on to me by Penny from McKinley Rodgers. And I just love them. Their tones, the colour, the 30's style groom and that dress, it makes a perfect mix of understated glamour.
Dr and Mrs Weston's wedding took place on 18 February this year, at Cripps Barn, and Mrs Weston wore the most elegant of Marchessa wedding dresses and sublime Biba wrap…
"I had actually been out drinking when I first saw it..! The dress was quite simple and people would not have to move out of the way when I wore it.
It was just so beautifully under-stated…"

I just adore these teal coloured bridesmaids dresses by Zara, that have been teamed up with the loveliest of vintage fur stoles from EBay and earrings by Martine Wester, via Liberty in Love…
Shoes by Marni. Oh Mrs Weston, you and your stylish ways are making me happy!
Mrs Weston's earrings were an original vintage purcahse from Portbello Road market in Notting Hill…
RSVP Candy provided all the wedding stationery, from the invites and place holders to the table numbers too…
Florals were provided by Phillo Flowers…
"We wanted relaxed and rustic – ranunculus are in season at this time, and not widely known. They look ust like a paper made rose…"
Mrs Watson walked down the aisle to the soundtrack of the traditional, processional March, Prelude in C Major by Bach….
The couple danced to George Harrison's 'Got my mind set on you'…
Words of Wedded Wisdom…
"Relax and don't over do the matchy matchy colour scheme!
Negotiate everything.
Organise a night before with lots of people to take your mind off things – informal drinks minus the husband to be.
Avoid too many magazines – use wedding blogs – didn't buy one magazine!
Invest in Dr Sebagh – for any last minute stress spots! Also, look into bio-gel nails, they last 3 weeks with no worries of chipping.
And finally, make a to do list by day in the last week and be decisive!"
This wedding has made my day SO much better already 🙂 I hope you love it and smile as much as I did looking through these beautiful photographs 🙂
Huge thanks to McKinley Rodgers for sharing these gorgeous images.
Who loves this Bride's style? Is anyone doing anything similar – what about the lovely teal green bridesmaids dresses from Zara? Or the beautiful Biba wrap?
Much love,
Annabel

So pretty, love the bridesmaids dresses, really elegant wedding x
Gorgeous – particularly like her earrings and the table signs. And the groom is definitely what women of a certain age call “dishy”. In fact, they look great together – super-stylish
