"This is a beautiful cream wedding dress from the 1970's. It doesn't have a maker's label but it is very much Candi Jones vintage in style and fabric. It does have a red and blue ILGWU label however. It is made from a very fine cotton gauze fabric which has uneven scrunch pleating. It is strappy with a sweetheart neckline. There is a V shape lace insert at the front bodice which is edged in satin ribbon.

The waist is outlined in satin ribbon and there are four cream buttons down the centre bodice. There is a a stitched in tie back belt. The skirt is gently flared and there is a ribbon edged ruffle above the hem which is edged in lace. The dress fastens with a back zip and it is fully lined in fine silk acetate. Please note that the dress is a slightly deeper cream than the photographs show due to the lighting.  Cost £275…"

"This is a show stopping white lace wedding dress from the late 1950's, possibly early 60's. It has long sheer lace sleeves with pointed cuffs and an illusion neckline with a scalloped edge. The sweetheart bodice has a band of chiffon under the bust. The bodice is constructed from panels of lace and the centre panel extends down the skirt to the hem. Either side of this central panel are chiffon inserts which are decorated with lace appliques. The back of the skirt is all lace.

There is a long chiffon bow under the empire line at the back bodice. The skirt is very full with a stiffened muslin petticoat, then a layer of acetate and finally a layer of tulle, all giving fullness to the lace top skirt. The dress fastens with a long back non-metal zip.  Cost £599…"

The gathered chiffon straps sit over the bodice which is made of more vertically gathered chiffon which is caught under the bust by a band of twisted braiding. There are three bands of braiding in all with the third one forming the waistline. The skirt is very full and forms a full circle. The dress fastens with a side metal zip. "This is a stunning vintage 1950's wedding dress made from cream satin overlaid with white lace and tulle. Please note that the dress is much creamier in colour than the photographs show due to the light. The dress has long lace sleeves with pointed buttoned cuffs, and an illusion lace neckline with a scalloped edge. The bodice has a cream satin lining which shows through the lace. The rolled waistline is slightly basque in shape. The skirt is amazing!

"This is a beautiful wedding dress from the 1970's in a very unusual colour. The fabric is opaque so the pale oyster colour satin acetate underskirt slightly shows through and gives a pinky sheen to the dress fabric which is cream with a self slubbed effect running through in caramel. It really is a difficult colour to describe overall! There are no fabric labels but it has the look and feel of a slubbed silk mix – perhaps there is some cotton in there or other natural fibre. The dress has elbow length puff sleeves with stripes of cream crochet running vertically to the cuffs. The bodice has a square neckline and there is an inset panel of stripes of crochet at the centre.

There is a stitched in tie back belt. The skirt is very full and flared and the dress fastens with a long back zip."
