Morning peoples 🙂 I didn't want to let this much needed bank holiday Monday pass by without sharing something with you on on the blog, but because today isn't your average Monday, I thought I'd share something a little different.
I was lucky enough last week to attend the Zoe Lem Vintage Wedding Fair in Clerkenwell London. As far as Vintage fairs goes, this is up there with the best of them and Zoe, a former celebrity stylist who has recently designed her own wedding dress collection, really, really knows her stuff. More on Zoe, her dresses and the fair another time very soon. For now, I wanted to share with you details of a company who's founders I met at the fair and who I think have one of the most exciting, original business ideas I've come across in a long time.
Vowed & Amazed! design and craft amazing props for hire at your wedding, from giant vintage funfair teacups to a classy bouncy castle and those gorgeous super-size letters that light up with traditional circus style festoon bulbs.
Love My Dress Wedding Blog – All Imagery supplied by Vowed & Amazed!
I've been emailed a few times now by readers asking where they can hire or buy those super-size words or letters that light up and so I'm so delighted to have finally found a company I can direct them to…
The founders of Vowed & Amazed! are Stuart and Caroline {that's them in the images above there}. They met at Art College and went on to work in the set building industry for 8 years before forming Vowed & Amazed! after designing & building a variety of giant bespoke props for their own wedding…
"We are very passionate about everything we build. All of our funfair bulb light up pieces are inspired by a life long passion for traditional funfairs and steam fairs.
Our (Love Letters) giant light up letters are a homage to the Deco days of theatre and cinema..."
The sign you see above there was used in this Frida Kahlo inspired photoshoot styled by Zoe Lem, which I completely adore. It was also on show at Zoe's Vintage Wedding Fair last weekend.
Everything that Vowed & Amazed! design and create is available to hire and is renovated or built in their fabulous workshop just outside London. From huge hearts that light up in pink or read with your names across the middle like cupid just planted them there, to giant light up letters, even huge tea cups and saucers – whatever your imagination conjurs up, Vowed & Amazed! can probably design and create it for you to hire.
Busy at work in the workshop below right there…
Price wise, super-size letters start from £90 per letter to hire. A huge heart that lights up is £145 to hire. For further information, please contact either Caroline or Stuart via the Vowed & Amazed! website or blog, Facebook or Twitter pages. You can also email Caroline or Stuart or telephone them on 07778- 391928.
And just incase you were wondering, all Vowed & Amazed! props are a fully insured and PAT tested. Bet you hadn't thought of that one eh? 😉
Now will someone please book commission an amazing Vowed & Amazed! creation so that I can blog about it?! That would be amazing, thank you! 😉
Much love all,
Annabel

I absolutely love these! So fun!
This is amazing – so lively and fun and vibrant! Thinking that some of these pics need to go in an inspiration board of mine! ♡
Love, love, love these!
Such cool signage! I love!!!!
Thanks to this post I’m hiring the joined up Love sign for my wedding on 30 June in Brighton – I can’t wait.
Not told the hubby to be as he would say it’s too extravagant so it will be a nice suprise, and will fit in amazingly with the venue and 50s/ seaside feel of the day.
Absolutely superb Helen! Thanks for feeding back to let us know, really pleased for you 🙂 I am sure your Husband will LOVE! Extravagance is all part of the fun for some on their wedding day. Enjoy 🙂
xXx
I LOVE THIS! I want to get married so I can have them! Or maybe I will just throw a wild party, those tea cups would look great in my barn!
Do it!!! 😉 xXx
Wish we had one here in southern California. These props are so much fun for wedding photos. Great find…care to find one for us across the pond? xx
WOW!! I’m waiting for fella to get home from work in the hope we can hire some bits… although I fear it might be too late for our wedding in a month! Fingers crossed!!
Thanks 😀
