Afternoon ladies and gents, in this the final post of today, I’m going to introduce you to ruby+diva, a new online bridal boutique jam packed with products and services from all the very best and most stylish designers working in the UK wedding and creative industry today.
ruby+diva founder, Sara, is here to tell us more about this exciting new venture…
“Hello! I’m Sara, the founder and Creative Director of new online wedding marketplace – ruby+diva, the chic, unique wedding boutique!
We want to help couples plan the most wonderful and unique wedding day with the minimum hassle. The idea is that we do the hard work by cherry-picking the best and most original wedding products and services from around the world and bringing them together in one marketplace…”

“We cover the whole wedding spectrum from bespoke engagement rings to once-in-a-lifetime honeymoons – we even have a section for grooms!
We don’t believe there should be rules about what you should wear with what and our ethos is that true beauty is allowing your personality to shine through. So, the main criteria for our suppliers, and we carefully choose every single one, is that they offer a little something different to the wedding market, be it creative, handmade or just downright unconventional…”

“Our site works as both a shop and a directory. Shopping is really easy. It works like a supermarket and you can buy products from different designers and make just one payment at our secure checkout.
For wedding services, you can browse the categories, view each service’s website and email them directly from our site.
For both products and services, we have a wish list option so you can save your ideas and create your very own inspiration board…”
The Bespoke shoes by Hetty Rose…
“I decided to launch ruby+diva after planning two weddings to my lovely husband Rob in 2012. One was a big country wedding (which didn’t happened in the end) and the other a small urban wedding {which did!}.
I had no idea where to start so, as I’m a lawyer by profession, I began months of thorough {to be fair, obsessive/OCD-level} research into the most unusual and unique wedding ideas out there {incidentally this led me to Love My Dress!}.
So, after our wedding I was left with files and files of information, which I felt might be helpful to other brides. Plus, I love the idea of working on a creative project and developing a community of like-minded small businesses who can support each other…”

“A convertible dress is designed to be worn in more than one way. Our dresses can be worn in 10 or 15 different ways depending on how creative you want to be with it! Try it in a halter style, strapless, or the ever classic one shoulder style – it’s the ultimate style chameleon!

Delivered to your door, the 8m tall full size festival flags are a visually stunning but simple and cost effective way to decorate any venue. The flags are designed to be quick and easy to self-install, or with our crew-install service, our experienced staff can transform any venue to create a quite unique ambiance, from private gardens to castles and palaces.
Fully bespoke service also available…”
“I can honestly say I love absolutely everything on the site. We have to be true to our brand so we only choose our favourite suppliers.”

“We are a new website but have had a fantastic response so far and have lots of exciting plans ahead, including a major design redevelopment over the summer. We are also a small team and run our business on a personal level so if couples can’t see what they want on our site now, they can ping us an email and we’re happy to source it for them….”
