Hello peeps, thought I'd start Tuesday with some wedding dress inspiration from a relatively new brand to the British bridal market.
Lara Hannah is the brainchild of British designer, Tobi Hannah, who I first featured on Love My Dress way back in October 2010, when she was a brand new designer on the scene. Tobi's usual signature style is the short wedding dress, and through focusing on a dress length that flatters so many brides, she has gone on to have great success.
It's super to hear of Tobi's latest foray into bridal wear via her new label ''Lara Hannah' – a collection of full length wedding dresses, each of them putting a contemporary inspiration on vintage inspired design for the modern day bride.
Below, the Acanthus design {rrp, £1550}, a beautiful, sleeveless boat neck silk crepe and lace wedding dress inspired by designs from the 1930's. Additional options with this particular design include long sheer lace sleeves or long silk crepe sleeves…

This collection from Lara Hannah London is called 'The Enchanted Garden' and comprises dresses made from luxurious silk fabrics, and embellished with fabrics designed by Tobi Hannah herself.
Tobi took huge inspiration from her love for John William Waterhouse Paintings which are known for the depictions of women from both ancient Greek mythology and Arthurian legend. Tobi has taken her inspiration from these paintings and united it with silhouettes from the 1920's to the 1970's to produce luxurious wedding dresses with an ethereal vintage feel.
Each dress in this collection is named after items that can be found in an enchanted garden and give visual meaning to the sentiments the Lara Hannah London Bride is looking to express.

The dress remains unadorned to help accentuate the detail of it's beautiful lace overcoat.
Sounds glorious doesn't it? Looks it too…
I just love this 'Gardener' design, a fully beaded and fitted long sleeve column wedding dress, rrp £2290.
The Gardener vintage inspired wedding dress is a clever mix of three vintage eras – 1920's, 1960's and 1970's depending on how the bride may wish to style it.
The dress is embellished with individually hand stitched bugle beads and clear sequins in the shape of ivy leaves as part of the enchanted garden collection theme and it can be produced as a sleeveless dress, with short sleeves or with three-quarter sleeves. I love the full sleeve option below…
I really love this Ivy design – which combines elements from three vintage decades – 1940's, 1970's and 1980's to create a modern version of vintage, rrp £1,850.

The Wisteria silk tulle and satin wedding dress retails at £1,655 and is an unusual mix between a 1910 and classic 1970s silhouette, yielding an authentic vintage feel for the modern bride.
Once again, the dress can be created sleeveless as show, with cap sleeves or full sleeves – great options!
