What’s on Your Christmas Gift List?

I've had so much fun preparing this feature! I thought it would be fun to ask my contributing team what they'd like for Christmas, so that I could rustle up a few inspiration boards to share with you.  After all, we all love a little nosey in to what's on other people's lists don't we? 😉

I'm going to run this post over 2 parts – part 2 will be posted later this week.  Today, I'm sharing what three gorgeous ladies are lusting after for Christmas, staring with Erin Hung. Erin is the founder and Creative Director over at Berinmade, she is also a regular contributor here at Love My Dress – take a look at her cute and colourful DIY tutorials! What a gorgeous selection of colours too – all pale pinks and greens with a festive splash of gold

Erin's Christmas wish list...

1. Ance Ankle boots.  2. Anthropologie Watercolour Cushion.  3 and 8. Anthropologie Statement Necklace. 4. Rifle Notebooks.  5. Sweet Tooth. 6. Gold Foil Notebooks from Brown Paper Design. 7. B Letterpress Print by Jessica Hische. 9. Chloe Bag. 10. Alphabet Bag B. 11. Aubin and Wills Hat.

Ahhh, lovely lovely Franky, my trusty blogging side kick and one
half of Love My Dress, I just don't know what I'd do without her.

I just knew Franky's Christmas wish list would be stylish and elegant,
with a splash of red (to match her red lipstick, of course).  Over to
you Franks…

Franky's Christmas gift list...

1. Beaton
in Vogue
– I always have a lengthy Amazon wish list on the go, but this
gorgeous coffee table book is definitely right at the top in terms of coveted
Christmas gifts. Not only is my idol Audrey Hepburn immortalised on the front
cover, but I have been fascinated by the work of Cecil Beaton ever since I was
a child. Years ago, my father worked on a documentary about the English fashion
and portrait photographer. I can vividly remember discussing Beaton’s Academy
Award winning costume design for the 1964 film My Fair Lady with my Dad. My passion for Beaton’s work has never
waned and I can’t wait to pore over the beautiful images in this weighty book.  2. Pearl
Lowe Floral Tea Dress
– I can’t resist a pretty frock, and this one would
be perfect to wear on Christmas day. I love the 1940s look, and red just so
happens to be my favourite colour. I’ll take it in a size 8 please Santa.

3. Neom
Inspiration Candle
– I love a little luxury candlelight at this time of
year, and I’m a huge fan of Neom’s organic offering. Made using only vegetable
wax and the purest essential oils, they burn cleanly and work as a powerful
holistic treatment as you inhale the scent. The blend of violet, chamomile and
cedarwood in this one is designed to make you feel inspired, confident and
motivated. 4. Little
Women Print by Emily McDowell
– I seem to spend an inordinate amount of
time browsing Etsy for pretty prints, it’s probably my favourite form of
procrastination. I haven’t been able to shake this one from my memory though,
largely because Little Women is one of my favourite books, but also because it
would sit beautifully above my desk in our bedroom.  5.  Classic Moleskin
Notebook
– There’s nothing quite like a new notebook. Its pristine pages
hold so much promise. What will I write and where will those words take me? I
favour the large classic hardback Moleskin with ruled pages, and I always write
with a 0.7
Uni-ball SigNo Gel Rollerball pen in black ink
. Just so you know.

6. REN
Moroccan Rose Otto Bath Oil
– I adore the sensual scent of REN’s Rose Otto
range, and this nourishing oil would do wonders for my parched winter skin.  7. Movie
Love Quotes Print by Karin Akesson
– Monochrome typography and romantic
quotes from some of my favourite films. Perfect. I need this on my bedroom
wall.  8. 14” Cambridge Satchel
in Red
– The perfect bag to accompany me on blog adventures and work trips.
The beautiful leather will only get better with age too.  9. Blue
Moon Fox Pendent by Astley Clarke
– Since I no longer need to drop hints
about wanting to wake up to an engagement ring on Christmas day, I can put all
my energy into nudging my husband towards a whole host of other sparkly gifts.
While the hefty price tag on this necklace probably means it won’t turn up in
my stocking, I am nonetheless smitten with the twinkly blue goldstone moon this
crafty fox sits atop.

10.  Fracas by Robert Piguet
– Truth be told, I don’t really need any more perfume, but that doesn’t deter
me from lusting after countless bottles of fine fragrance. I’ve been dreaming
of this one ever since I attended the 1940s
Scent Session with Odette Toilette at Les Senteurs
earlier this year.
Inspired by Rita Hayworth’s iconic performance in Gilda, Fracas stands
as the classic tuberose fragrance of its day; a burst of peach and orange
blossom opens into waves of gardenia, jasmine and stunning profusions of
tuberose. I’d like this to be what 2013 smells like.  11. Roberts Revival RD60 DAB
Digital Radio
– I can’t bear to be without music while I’m at home,
so the
lack of audio accompaniment in our kitchen desperately needs to be
rectified. I
love the classic styling of this Roberts Revival radio and cranking up
the
volume while I make dinner each evening would bring me great joy.
(great choice Franks, I do believe Father Christmas may be bringing me
one in pale green!).

Thanks Franky!

Now last but my no means least today is lovely Michelle Kelly, the founder of Pocketful of Dreams

Michelle's Christmas gift list...

Michelle has been contributing to Love My Dress for over a year now (take a look at some of her
beautiful inspiriation boards
).  It's been a litle while since
Michelle's name has graced these pages, and that's because she's been
super busy setting up the new Bloggers Masterclass, Dream Find Do -  you can expect to see more regular features from Michelle form here on however – starting this very Friday morning.

I am liking this inspiration board and LOVE those neon disco lights  from the fabulous Uniche Interior Furnishings

1. These vintage fallow antlers in ombré blue from the most delicious teal to duck egg with a hint of gold, of course.  2 and 7. Mini paper mâché bowls for storing my treasures and trinkets.  3. We have a love of painted animal figurines at Pocketful of Dreams so these all-white candleholders are definitely floating my boat.  4 and 10. A random selection of Wallpaper City Guides and the hope I get to visit some of these fabulous places next year and explore the world.  5.  A funky new iPhone case.

6. Rules are for fools canvas bag by Alphabet Bags.  8. This astrology wall calendar for its sheer simplicity. 9. Full of interest and texture, these Rowen and Wren Cari Woven Cushions
have been beautifully woven in a historic Suffolk mill and would look
perfect in my newly zen, pale bedroom that's crying out for a
sophisticated pop of colour.  11. Practical can be stylish too with this personalised iPad case from Lunambra on Etsy. 12. A Baobab Goa Scented candle from Amara. 13. I'd love to bring a little neon disco into my home, from Uniche Interior Furnishings, hell why not?

So, there we have it ladies and gents.  Check in on Wednesday to see what's on mine, Charlotte and Jess's Christmas wish-lists!

In the meantime, we'd love to know what's on your lists too! What are you lusting over for Christmas this year?
