We're receiving more and more requests to feature films with you, and so it gives me pleasure today to blog this lovely wedding film created by the team over at Mintyslippers.
This film follows Paul and Sarah on their wedding on Saturday 8th September last year, at Poundon House near Bicester in Oxon. Sarah wears the very elegant 'Samantha' design by Sassi Holford, as well as a headpiece by the award winning Hermione Harbutt, and I always think the sign of a great wedding film is one that brings a rather emotional lump to my throat, even when I've never met the couple getting married. "Paul and I had been together for ten years before we got engaged so when it came to planning our dream wedding we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted, a relaxed day full of personal touches that embodied us, our friends and family. We chose Poundon House as the house and grounds were stunning and importantly the owners allowed us to be completely flexible in planning our day. We didn't have a definitive theme, just a palette of soft pinks, purple, creams and lace (largely inspired by my gorgeous Sassi Holford dress and jacket).
I wanted to incorporate as many DIY wedding ideas as possible, handmade stationary and tableplan, a sweet table with handmade labels to indulge my sweet tooth and to act as favours, Mexican Banderos flags to reflect our favourite holidays, S&P stamps on our Photobooth pictures and many more. It was a labour of love and I was so pleased with guests reactions to the small details on the day."
