Rest in peace, beautiful and brave Vicky…

If you don't mind, I'm going to take the afternoon off today.  I can't bring myself to blog a beautiful new wedding celebration this afternoon – there are times when it just feels inappropriate.

Just about an hour ago, I was informed of the very sad passIng of this beautiful bride, Vicky, who died peacefully in her sleep yesterday afternoon.

Vicky was such a brave young lady, whose life was cruelly stolen by a very rare form of cancer.

Vicky and her love Fynn had the most beautiful and moving wedding. I was so proud, so very touched to have had the pleasure of featuring it on Love My Dress.

Vicky and Fynn are the founders of Imagine It, a business which focuses on assisting others to find happiness by living the lives they desire.  What a wonderful, positive thing to dedicate your life to doing.  Victoria also wrote her own personal blog that documented her experiences of her illness, and that is also full of inspiration and encouragement – see Poppies and Epiphanies.

Today, I'd like to dedicate my little space in a corner of the internet to Fynn,
the husband Vicky leaves behind. God bless you Fynn, you brave and
courageous soul. My heart goes out to you and my thoughts are with you. You have inspired me in all the ways I hope you and Vicky intended to and made me think more about living my life in the moment, and celebrating what I have right here, right now – thank you so, so much.

If you would like to share your condolences, you can do so via the Imagine It Facebook page.

Please take a moment to hug your loved ones, right now, wherever you are.
