A Paloma Blanca Wedding Dress and Pretty Maids in Floral Crowns…

Good morning my loves, I took a rare day of yesterday to spent time with my lovely friend Naomi Kenton but hope you got time to catch up with the lovely East London wedding and our discussion post about when the very best time to get married is (3pm according to our regular writer The Wedding Reporter).  So, it's good to be back this morning with a day full of inspiration – AND – the shortlist for the Fiona Kelly Wedding Photography competition (coming up shortly before noon everyone).

This morning's wedding was submitted by Sarah Falugo of Green Photographic – it pictures the ever so elegant Ben and Liz who tied the knot on 1st September 2012 at Buckland-Tout-Saints in Kingsbridge, Devon.

Liz looks a picture of elegance in her Paloma Blanca wedding dress, purchased from London Bride Couture for it's lace detail and feminine simplicity, it suited their laid back and relaxed wedding inspired by the English countryside so very beautifully.

"Ben proposed in Rome after about two years of dating, however, we had known each other for some years prior to this – we live in a typical Devon village and wanted our wedding to reflect our lifestyle and country style…"

used a vintage suitcase sourced from Charity shop, various silvered
tea-light holders, luggage labels for place settings.  Vases provided by
florist. “Just married” wooden sign and wooden heart favours from
www.heartsandhens.com. Gilt frame for table plan – Bridport market.
We also used vintage postcards sourced from various antiques shops on Exeter and
Topsham Quay."

"Our photographers Sarah
and Bear of
Green Photograhic were absolutely fantastic. Sarah stayed with the Bridal party
at Buckland in the morning and Bear met the groomsmen at The Fortesque
Arms in East Allington. They provided a wonderful professional service
and made our day go smoothly. We didn’t even notice they were there for
most of the time."

Words of Wedded Wisdom…

"All
of the small hand-made touches made our day and the venue and we were
so pleased we took the time to rope in our friends and family to help.
The big things that you spend so much time worrying about didn’t seem to
matter on the day."

Such a beautiful day – elegant and relaxed, such pretty florals and flower crowns – thank you Ben and Liz for sharing your beautiful day with our readers today, and as always immense thanks to Sarah Falugo of Green Photograhic – you can see much more of her work right here on Love My Dress.

Are any of my lovely readers preparing to make their brides look pretty with similar flower crowns, and do we have any more Paloma Blanca reading today?

Much love,

Annabel
