Good morning lovers, I'm here to inject a little wedding day glamour in to the first of of your day with this lovely set of wedding photographs sent in by Christian Ward Photography.
Lindsey and Dave tied the knot on 6th November 2012 at Manchester Museum, followed by a reception at The Imperial War Museum in Manchester. I love these images because Lindsey oozes classic Love My Dress style – that Biba at House of Fraser feather cape (also spotted here and here) that beautiful lace Charlotte Balbier dress (a purchase from the highly regarded Manchester wedding boutique The White Closet) and those pretty Rachel Simpson Mimi heels, tick all the Love My Dress vintage style lovers boxes.
"We didn’t have a theme or anything that inspired the
day and changed our minds many times throughout the planning. Everything
fell into place after finding my dress.
My wedding dress was the 'Tabitha' design, by Charlotte Balbier from The White Closet. I loved EVERYTHING about this dress. The lace, the soft colour, the shape. I’d happily wear it everyday…."

"We were clueless when it came to what flowers we wanted, but Sian from The Flower Lounge talked me through various styles and colours and the results were incredible."
"After five years together, we visited the Italian Lakes for a
family wedding. Whilst there, Dave proposed on St Marks Square during a
trip to Venice. We got married two and a half year later!"
"We chose to work with Christian & Erica at Christian Ward and we are thrilled we used them. The photography from the day is amazing and we couldn’t be happier with the job they did."
Lindsey's pretty birdcage veil is the 'Dolly' design, by Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe – a purchase via The White Closet…
"As neither of us are religious, churches were out and we wanted somewhere exciting to be married, and so chose Manchester Museum. Have you seen the big dinosaur?!
I walked down the aisle to The Smiths 'Please Please Please Let Me
Get What I Want', and we walked back up to Bright Eyes, 'First Day of My
Life'.
"Arriving at the reception and seeing all our friends and family
was the best part of our day – having our son, Henry there on the day
too, oh, and the dancing!"
"A friend made some stunning table plans out of vintage suitcases
as well as putting together a guestbook using old drawers and index
cards…"
"Our reception was held at The Imperial War Museum – We chose this as we loved the idea of two museums. The IMW also worked really well with the loose vintage feel we had on the day."
"We had Red Velvet Cupcakes from Dish & Spoon Food We didn’t fancy a traditional cake and already knew we loved everything they bake."
Oh how fabulous. I totally need one of those Biba feather capes in my life!
I'd love to hear from my readers – what are you loving most about these images readers?
