'I’m Sarah of Sarah Lauren Photography and I absolutely love
weddings. I combine creative flair, great rapport with people and first class camera skills
to capture your day in a fun and natural way. I’m based in beautiful South Devon but will happily travel anywhere
throughout the UK and abroad.'

Sarah's love of photography developed whilst living and working
in Paris and continued to flourish when she spent the following year travelling the world.

'There was so much to capture, and of course never
a dull moment. I eventually developed my passion into
wedding photography when I started assisting our own wedding photographer
nearly six years ago. I haven’t looked back since.'

I asked Sarah what she loves most about photographing a wedding…

'I love that no two weddings are ever the same. More than
anything else I love meeting so many different people and their friends and
families. I love that my clients are
often creative people themselves, so seeing all their ideas come together on
the day and being able to capture them on camera is an honour.'

Sarah's work is inspired by many different things, including films and magazines.

'Overall I would say that my biggest inspiration comes from the people I’m photographing,
their personalities and their rapport. I also draw a lot of
inspiration from physical surroundings, the landscape, light, colours and the
impact they all have on each other.'

'My style is informal and based on building strong
relationships; not just with couples, but also with family and friends – as
well as with venues and other suppliers to make sure the day is captured
perfectly. I’m passionate about working
with friendly, relaxed and creative people and love getting to know a couple
really well so we can give them a unique, tailored experience.

This all helps me to keep my style
journalistic throughout the day, capturing natural expressions and moments as
they unfold.'
