Best Of The Week(s!) #5 ∼ Monday 19th August – Friday 13th September 2013

Good afternoon to you!  For those of you with a little time to relax and catch up on your favourite blogs this today, we hope this post provides some beautiful inspiration.

It’s been one crazy busy past three weeks for my family and I – holidays, exhibitions, weddings, birthdays, delayed train journeys, stolen purses, but I digress – and in the middle of all of this we had little time to prepare and share our new regular ‘best of the week‘ feature.  So today’s post is dedicated to some of the loveliest images we’ve featured on the blog over the past month.

It really has been a month full of the most beautifully inspiring images on Love My Dress – I’m so damn proud of how this blog has developed over time to be such an incredible resource for brides.

Don’t we feature some of the most fabulous shoes worn by brides? Pink sparkly toetips, blue suede shoes with gold sparkly heels, elegant Emmy designs (by George, they were *such* a hit on our Facebook page when we shared them – both times!).

As usual, our selection of weddings to share captured a glamorous, naturally elegant vibe, nothing too forced, just beautiful people looking radiant and in love – and there were so many little details to inspire our readers…

We were spoiled this past few weeks too, with submissions from some of our very, very favourite wedding photographers, including Craig and Eva Sanders, Tom Ravenshear, Emma Boileau and Emma Case.

It was also a beautifully colourful month which inspired me to write this post and create this new Pinterest Board dedicated to coloured wedding dresses.
