Anyone long-time familiar with Love My Dress, it's founding principles and ideas will be well aware I have an absolute passion for good craftsmanship and design when it comes to bridal wear. I love to use this blog and the Love My Dress brand to support designers I feel excel in this field. One such designer goes by the name of Terry Fox.
Terry Fox is one of the first designers I interviewed for Love My Dress back in March 2010. Terry hasn't been quiet in between times – winning a national award for best wedding dress designer last year, and working on her brand new collection that takes a step in a new direction from her signature highly theatrical style and will almost certainly broaden the appeal of Terry's designs. The new ''Jet Deco' collection uses lace, silk, satin and tulle, all worked into designs that are
wonderfully reminiscent of Hollywood glamour from the 1920′s and 1930’s.

The images you see on this page today were shot at Wotton House in Dorking, Surrey – a venue chosen for its
dramatic Temple, which the creative team felt would make the ideal dramatic backdrop for Terry's designs.
Wotton House
is a beautiful country estate set into 20 acres of magnificent grade II
listed gardens in the Surrey countryside, just outside Dorking. Today
the Wotton House Hotel Dorking is part of the Principal Hayley group of
conference venues and hotels, but it has an extensive history, most
famously as the 17th century family residence of botanist and diarist
John Evelyn. It is very easy to envisage the historic grandeur of the
venue, particularly when approaching up the handsome driveway.

Terry Fox started out by serving couture apprenticeships with both Zhandra Rhodes and the Emmanuels.
From these early beginnings, Terry’s career began to take hold; she
started to develop her own unique style and it wasn’t long before she
had launched her own range of special occasion wear, that became an
instant success, selling out at such prestigious outlet’s as Harrods of Knightsbridge.
I absolutely adore the floral styling by Heather Cole in these images, the glorious early century inspired headpieces by Donna Crain.
Exciting
times are ahead for Terry Fox, who has plans for a
new website and branding and hopes these images and plans for future
shoots with this team will introduce her gowns to many more romantic and
beautiful brides.
