'I was married on the beach near Cape Town and I fell in love all over again when I saw my wedding images. I had, by chance, booked one of South Africa's top wedding photographers and was completely swept off my feet by the beauty of his photographs and the story they told; the nervous tension of my husband at the venue on weather watch deciding if they should set up on the beach; the teary exchange between my parents when we were making our vows, all the handmade details my bridesmaids and I lovingly created, and of course our fabulous portraits on the beach.
It's then I realised just how emotive and impactful wedding photography could be and how personally rewarding I would find it to be the creator of that same experience for other couples.'
'I'm based near
Richmond-upon-Thames so undertake a lot of wedding photography around the London and Home Counties
area, but there's nowhere I won't go for a beautiful wedding. I'm
recently back from shooting out in Portugal and Switzerland, and I have
weddings in Tuscany, Bali and Sydney next year, so anywhere you're
thinking of getting married in the UK or abroad is all good by me!'
'My style is mostly documentary, capturing the magic as is naturally unfolds and I'm as unobtrusive and discrete as I can be. I do also like to sneak away with you for about 30 minutes to get some beautiful portraits of you enjoying being alone, Mr & Mrs for the first time, with some gentle guidance from me on how you might hold yourself or interact with each other to make elegant yet natural and flattering pictures without much effort.'
'I know how much time and effort goes into the little details that make each wedding so personal, and the fact you're reading this on Love My Dress tells me you've probably got a fair few ideas in that department by now! I love shooting these special touches – if they were important enough for you to include them in the biggest day of your life, the story isn't complete without them.'
'For me, there is nothing quite like the feeling of seeing and
hearing my clients' delight in the images I've created for them, to see
