Our recent house move was a big one, transporting us to a whole new city.
We've been in Bristol for just over five weeks now and we are loving it. This
past Wednesday, I was incredibly excited about attending my first local
industry event. After just a few hours at The Little Wedding Space in Clifton
it was obvious to me that I'm now part of a pretty amazing collective of
suppliers, artists and creative individuals. Today I want to urge any of you
that might be nearby to head down and experience their brilliance for yourself.
Brought to you by stylist Kirsten Butler {a.k.a The Little Wedding Helper}
and photographer Ruth Garner, The Little Wedding Space is a contemporary pop up
shop showcasing the best of the South-West’s wedding suppliers.
The space feels more like an art installation than a sales environment,
overflowing as it does with stunning vignettes and exquisite styling guaranteed
to leave you feeling incredibly inspired. There’s obviously someone on hand to
answer key questions, but visitors are able to browse at their leisure and
really think about the products and services on display.
There was so much to look at on Wednesday evening. The magical autumnal
tablescape at the centre of the room drew quite a crowd! I really enjoyed
chatting to some of the suppliers about their wares too. I fell head over heels
for the gorgeous sequin table cloths available to hire from Helen at Pudding
Bridge and The Vintage Sash Company blew me away with their simple, but oh so
stylish, offering. Sweet and Pretty’s candy buffet had me drooling and I was
longing for a slice of an Anna Tyler Cake all evening! You’ll also find The
Wedding Reporter, Lizzy-May Design, Jo and Co, Daisy Lane Floral Design, Emma
Norton Flowers, Bristol Vintage and Your Perfect Venue.
The Little Wedding Space runs until 28th October
and is open every day from 11am until 7pm with late night opening until 9pm on
Thursdays. You can find more information via facebook and twitter too.
If you can, do head over and immerse yourself in this
innovative hive of inspiration and creativity. Your wedding will thank you for
it!
Much love
Franky
