Introducing The New Bridal Capsule Collection From Belle & Bunty

I'm excited today to be sharing an exclusive with you – these images which haven't been seen before, are from Belle & Bunty, the award winning and flirtatiously British London based label, who are launching a brand new bridal capsule collection.

I have a lot of love in my heart for Belle & Bunty. They are a brand that's been around pretty much since I started Love My Dress, and I've loved watching their brand and business grown, and indeed photographs of brides wearing their beautiful gowns on Love My Dress.  I interviewed the founding designers Hannah and Alice back in 2012 and they remain two of the loveliest and incredibly stylish ladies I know in this industry.

Inspiration for this new collection has been taken from the early 1900's and the exotic Dutch dancer, turned spy Mata Hari's carefree, dark provocative style. And I just adore it.  It's exotic, alluring and sensual – Hari was a free-spirited bohemian and seductress who was the first woman in the 20th century to achieve "celebrity" status. She was a famous advocate for the Women's Vote and Equal Rights and showed great strength, and personal courage. Known for her love of jewels, ornamental armwear and headpieces, her style exuded opulence and luxury.

Subtle elements of this have been woven into the new collection in true Belle & Bunty style with jewels and textures of delicate laces layered on top of delicious fluid silk satins, chiffons and morocains providing the understated glamour so synonymous to the label.

The campaign shoot images depict a Starlet from times gone by waiting back stage before her starring moment in front of the big lights. The collection is worn with a nonchalant glamour and opulence, contrasting against the gritty reality of the unseen life of a travelling star such as Mata Hari.

New styles include The Aster, a full sleeve frothy style combining a delicate dotty tulle & beautiful lace.

The flattering Blossom dress has hints of texture with its tiny lace capped sleeves and lace peplum, while The Valentina's flare satin skirt and lace hanging bodice enhances the wearers waist.

A more structured style, The Maple has clean lines offset with a dark antique crystal belt for a true mix of modern and vintage.

The blush silk satin underskirt of The Ophelia allows the beautiful ivory lace to do the talking in this dropped waist style with godet inserts, key to the Belle & Bunty collections. Scallop lace trim and dotty tulle is used to perfection with the introduction of the strapless Tulip Dress, styled with wide silk satin sash.

The flirtatiousness of Belle & Bunty's bridal collections fuse contemporary style with romance and timeless elegance providing a modern vintage feel for the spirited bride craving a flattering, feminine dress which truly is a joy to wear. Lovers of fine details and only the best fabrics, Alice Shreeve and Hannah Coniam-Thompson, the Creative Directors behind the label, have created a range of dresses for confident, cool brides looking for uniquely designed dresses with figure enhancing silhouettes.

The whole bridal collection is now available at the flagship Belle & Bunty boutique in London, with prices starting at £1450.  As you expect with such a brilliantly British brand, all dresses are Made in Britain using UK based suppliers for all fabrics and trim.  We LOVE that and we hope you enjoy swooning over these images this morning as much as we have.

I'd really love to hear from any of you who may be planning a visit to try on some of these beatiful designs.
