E.Y.I.Love ~ Super Stylish Luxury Wedding Stationery

E.Y.I.LOVE, or 'Everything Yours i Love', is a design and print studio specialising in super stylish, luxury wedding stationery with a hint of fun. Lorna and Jack, the husband and wife design duo behind the business, have backgrounds in textile design and engineering, which means you can guarantee the feel, finish and precision of their stationery is as important as the design itself.

'It's really important to us that our stationery is as stylish and full of personality as our couples! Each design we produce has a little bit of our heart poured in. We love what we do and we truly care that each of our clients absolutely LOVE their stationery too. From their studio in Glasgow, Lorna and Jack work with couples all over the UK and beyond. Internet communication allows them to work the ‘modern way’, so you can send your wedding correspondence the ‘old-fashioned’ way. Working with clients via email for designs and proofs, the duo then ship their beautiful stationery anywhere in the world.

'Jack works meticulously with our printing presses whilst Lorna keeps up with current trends reading Vogue (and shopping!)- just to guarantee your stationery will always be as stylish and fashionable as you are!'

Lorna told me more about how E.Y.I.Love came about…

'In 2009 I returned to Glasgow after living in Italy working as a textile designer. Jack and I were looking into starting a textile studio and screen printing business, but whilst researching and planning our new venture we also happened to be planning our own wedding. We were keen to use an old traditional letterpress printer, which I had acquired from my Grandpa, for our wedding stationery. We sought help and advice from some local printing masters and fell head over heels in love with the old foil machines.

'We printed everything we could with gold and silver foil, sampling many luscious papers and cards and ordering envelopes in every colour we could! It dawned on us that perhaps we could turn this new found love into a business and we could spend our days designing gorgeous stationery for other happy couples. We worked hard and had a lot of help from family and friends. It paid off and Jack and I are now both fully employed by E.Y.I.LOVE and loving every minute of it!'

With a signature style that is a stylish, modern twist on vintage elegance {with some quirkiness thrown in for good measure}, E.Y.I.Love now use their beloved foil printing presses to produce luxuriously foiled wedding stationery. I'm sure it will come as no surprise to hear that these shimmering designs are the ones Annabel and I are most drawn to! They just ooze glamour.

'Our customers themselves are probably our first and most important point of inspiration. They inspire me daily with their passion and style and I love nothing more than receiving an email from an excited bride-to-be with her wedding day vision. Passionate people… they are so inspiring and it's infectious!'

'I also adore fashion and probably spend the majority of my time pulling inspiration consciously (and subconsciously) from fashion magazines, books, blogs and even stores. I adore a wander round a department store or two, particularly at the perfume counters. The bright lights, beautiful packaging, the pretty colours, the glamorous girls… Oh, and Paris.  Everything about Paris inspires me…  and of course, TRUE LOVE.'

'Jack on the other hand pulls his inspiration from bolder graphic design, traditional typography and tattoo art. He will happily spend his days drinking coffee and mulling over old books, all for the sake of a good design. Jack also has an attention to detail like no other and finds much of his inspiration whilst we’re out and about receiving great customer service. We have learned there is much more to ‘our work’ than simply producing great stationery. We want E.Y.I.LOVE to be known for both beautiful, creative paper goods and our exceptional level of customer service.'
