A Beautiful and Moving Hindu Catholic Wedding Film

One of the most wonderful things about being a wedding blogger is the fact we get to share pure joy – beautiful moments filled with love and happiness that inspire, uplift and sprinkle our working days with real little bits of magic.  One way I love sharing this joy is through films.

Wedding films have undergone such a huge change in recent years – wobbly hand-held camera action and cheese-fest productions with screens framed in love hearts have been replaced by the most sublimely crafted, cinematic style productions, just like this one I’m sharing with you today.

I absolutely love this wedding film.  It makes me cry – in a good way of course. Watching it I feel an instant connection with couple, Urmila and John, and their fascinating Hindu/Catholic celebration.  I want to drive into the film and be there, hugging the loved-up newlyweds, joining in the celebration, soaking it all up.

This film was sent in by Greg Frankowski of HD Wedding Films, who tells us a little more about this very special day, “A wedding is thought of being one of the most stressful days in someone’s life. However it is also one of the happiest and most monumental. It is a day with the sole purpose of celebrating the love and union of two individuals. Urmila and John, two people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, were fortunate enough to experience this day twice in one weekend.

On the 24th and 25th of August last year, two ceremonies took place at Redworth Hall Hotel, the enchanting country house nestled in the natural beauty of County Durham.  Each was completely different, but both identical in meaning and purpose.”

“Urmila and John’s musical talent inspired the theme of the first wedding, and the decorations gave the room a truly beautiful atmosphere that was only surpassed by the bride’s presence.

The second wedding took us on a journey across the world to India. Hindu weddings always have a certain something about them that makes them special. The colorful ceremony brought strong emotions to the family and friends of the happy couple. Indian traditions, such as the drummers and vibrant saris, dictated the proceedings and after party.”

Isn’t that just utterly wonderful?

Huge, huge thanks to the HD Wedding Films team for sharing this absolute beauty of a wedding film.

With much love,
