Love My Dress Interns: We Need You To Join Our Team!

Hey there Sunday people, hopefully, a large portion of you will be reading this from the comfort of your beds whilst enjoying a peaceful lie in, catching up with all your favourite blogs and perhaps leisurely making your way through the Sunday papers.  Bravo to the weekend!

Eagle eyed social media followers might have spotted Twitter and Facebook updates that I shared last week inviting those of you who are fond of writing to visit Love My Dress today.  Thank you so much for dropping by if that is you!

I’ve been blogging for over 4 and a half years now.  So much has happened in this time – life changing things – like a whole new career and endless opportunities to meet amazing people who have influenced how I live, work, play and see the world around me.  It’s all been a hugely positive experience for me, even if along the way, at times, it has felt like an exhausting experience developing my business and trying to juggle motherhood and everything else.  Love My Dress® has altered my life so much for the better and I’m incredibly proud of it, and how it continues to inspire our readers and generate business for our sponsors.

Love My Dress Needs You! Internships now available

There comes a time in any business development journey when you hit ‘tipping point’ and really need to look for outside support.  I hit my first tipping point back in 2011 when I took on my first admin support, but in the last few months I’ve hit another real tipping point – one that’s made me realise just how much Love My Dress® has grown and the changes I now need to make to ensure it can continue to grow and develop to be the best inspirational resource possible, and also a well run business.  Since I became a full-time blogger in May 2011, our visitor numbers, social media followers and general level of influence in the wedding industry and bridal community has seen phenomenal growth.  On top of this I also have plans to develop Love My Dress® quite significantly in the coming months. Which leads to only one conslusion - it's time to start expanding my team!

In a separate post tomorrow I'll be sharing details of how I’m planning on strengthening my team with new and permanent additions, but today I want to talk about how you, our readers, can contribute content to these much adored wedding blog pages.

I’m looking for a number of Interns to assist in the role of producing real wedding features.   This is such an important role – our real wedding features are the backbone of what we do and they are what brings our readers back in their droves.  We receive many compliments every week on the presentation and format of our real wedding features but we want to make sure that alongside the many developments we’re focusing on right now, that we can continue to produce these features to the high quality that our readers have become accustomed to.

So here's the deal – if you’re looking for an opportunity to stretch your creative wings, add to your CV by writing for a wedding blog with global appeal and impressive social media reach, indulge your love of writing and weddings or just to explore the blogosphere in more detail around your current role or family commitments, then I think we might just have the perfect opportunity for you.

If you think you might be interested, please pop your details in to the form below.  On completion of the form you will receive an email with a download link to an Intern pack and instructions on what to do next.

* Required

The closing date for our internships is Sunday 18th May – but we’ll be sharing reminders across all our social media profiles as this deadline approaches.

I am so looking forward to hearing from some of our loyal readers on this one – these are really exciting times for Love My Dress® and I'm genuinely thrilled that we’ll be able to take some of you along with us on the journey.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone.
