Good afternoon everyone. In our second wedding feature for today, we’re sharing the wedding photographs of Toyin, an IT Project Manager and Business Analyst and her beau, Tobias, who tied the knot on 31st August last year. The couple’s wedding took place at their local church in Wandsworth, and I love the fact they then chose to have their reception at their home, because they wanted to have a completely relaxed and laid back celebration. How wonderful!
“We decided to have the wedding reception at home because we wanted a relaxed and intimate wedding with close family and friends, with no fuss. Getting ready with my best friends in the morning, saying our vows and mingling with friends and family at home during the reception were important aspects of the day for us.”

“I met Tobias’s cousin and wife while they were on their honeymoon in Mauritius. We became friends and a few years later they invited me to a dinner party at their place. I met Tobias at the dinner party and we started dating a few months after that.”
I’m passionate about supporting independent designers in the UK wedding industry, and someone I particularly love to support and have huge respect for is designer Yemi Osunkoyah.

“Our photographer was Nitin Kapoor – we wanted a relaxed wedding and we wanted to capture the essence of the wedding on the day as opposed to official staged photos. Nitin understood what we wanted from the word go and captured the wedding perfectly. He worked seamlessly on the day to the extent that we didn’t even realise that he was taking photo’s. He was fab!”
“Our florists were LK Lily – I found them on the internet and the owner at the time, Lindsay, was just so nice and really understood what I was looking for. Our cake was organised through the caterers, The London Kitchen Company, and was delicious!”
Words of Wedded Wisdom…
“I would say that you should really try and have the wedding you want. Also remember that it is just one day and that the most important thing is the marriage, and not the wedding. If you bear this in mind this might help reduce the stress of planning. It really doesn’t matter if a few things are not perfect on the day.”
