Introducing Zankyou – The Unique Wedding Website & Gift List Service

I’m always amazed at how weddings change over the years. It’s not too long ago when, for my Aunt’s wedding (in which I wore the most unflattering bridesmaid’s dress ever!) the gift list consisted of a ring-bound notebook that was passed around family and friends with people ripping out the page that gave details of the item they’d bought. Can you imagine even trying to do that now

There’s also every chance that even if you’ve not lived with your partner before you get married, you’ve already lived on your own and have lots of those ‘traditional’ gift list items so it’s no wonder that we’re all looking for something a little different. Well, that search is over because today, I’m going to tell you more about the wonderful Zankyou and their unique wedding website and gift list service.

SO, what makes Zankyou so special? Firstly, in an age when we’re all doing more and more, Zankyou is there to make everything that bit easier, for you and for your guests and, in the midst of planning a wedding, that’s certainly something that deserves a round of applause!

It’s an absolute breeze to create a personal web page for your wedding (you can even reserve your own web address too) and then guests can find out everything they need to know in one place. All the details, from directions and accommodation options to the plan for the day and much more is available to them with just one click. You can even collate photos and RSVPs via your Zankyou website.

Secondly, you can organise your gift list via Zankyou too so it’s also as easy as pie for guests to purchase a present in celebration of your big day. However, what makes Zankyou’s service so special is that you’ve got complete freedom to list whatever you want.

“It’s a cash gift list where you can customise each gift then receive the cash equivalent directly into your bank account,” explains Sean from Zankyou.  “This means that as well as tangible gifts, such as your more traditional toasters and towels which you can choose from our catalogue, you can also allow your guests to contribute to your honeymoon, home improvements and whatever else you can think of. You can even ask them to donate to a charity of your choice if you feel you already have everything you need.”

Zankyou was created when its founders recognised that there wasn’t an easy-to-use, intuitive wedding gift list and webpage service that was set up with the needs of us millennials in firmly mind – we get married later, we’ve often lived together before the big day and we frequently have guests travelling from all around the world to our weddings. We’re also tech-savvy and looking for clever ideas that will make our lives easier. And so far, over half a million gifts have been purchased via Zankyou. That’s an awful lot of happiness and it all starts with just one click…

You can find out more about Zankyou and their services on their website – zankyou.com/uk. The personal website service is completely free to use whilst the gift list service does carry some small charges and details of these are available on their website.
