Introducing EYI Love – Luxurious & Stylish Wedding Stationery

I am fizzing and buzzing at the moment and I’m not the only one – everyone at Love My Dress is just bursting with energy right now. After Annabel’s visits to White Gallery, London Bridal Fashion Week and Blogtacular plus my super-inspiring day at The Hub (more of which soon!), we’re absolutely in love with the creative, passionate and professional individuals that fill the UK wedding industry.

One business that embodies this fabulous ‘do what you love’ approach is EYI Love and it’s a real pleasure to introduce you to them and their fantastic wedding stationery…

Founded by husband and wife team Lorna and Jack after their own wedding in 2009, EYI Love (which is short for Everything Yours I Love) is a stationery, paper good and print studio based in Glasgow and specialising in luxurious wedding stationery and stylish prints.

Over the last six years, EYI Love’s brilliant designs have caught the eye of hundreds and hundreds of couples around the world and earlier this year, they were commissioned for Andy Murray and Kim Sears’ wedding. It’s true to say that Lorna and Jack’s unique skills certainly bring something special to their designs.

“Initially using an old printing press Lorna acquired from her Grandpa, we began developing our own style and quickly fell in love with old foil printing machines. Now our design aesthetic mainly focuses on metallic foil and luxurious cards and wedding stationery and we have recently branched out into other print products such as stylish prints for interiors and kid’s prints and cards.”

One of the many things I just adore about EYI Love’s designs is the mix of the traditional and the modern as well as the playful yet luxurious look of all of their work. Everything is handmade using traditional printing methods so every design is genuinely bespoke and crafted with lots of care and a more than a little bit of love.

“Creating each foil is a labour of love,” says Lorna. “By using hand pressing techniques we ensure each print is completely unique and perfect. We truly care that our stationery is as stylish and full of personality as our couples are. Each design we produce has a little bit of our hearts poured in because we love what we do and we really care that each of our clients absolutely LOVE their stationery too. We use only the best quality materials we can source and we believe that every single detail matters.”

“We get so much inspiration from our customers,” says Lorna. “I’m also inspired by fashion and love wandering around department stores. Perfume counters have particular inspiration: the bright lights, beautiful packaging, the colours and glamorous girls all inspire the EYI Love brand. Jack on the other hand pulls his inspiration from bolder graphic design, traditional typography and tattoo art. He will happily spend his days in a coffee house mulling over some old books, all for the sake of a good design.”

Traditional techniques, modern influences and a huge amount of personal attention? Oh yes EYI Love that is good design indeed.
