I love wedding dresses and I have to say that there are times (however few and far between!) when I’m very glad I’m not a bride-to-be because I really don’t know how I’d choose what to wear. The talent and creativity of those who design the stunning wedding gowns that we all adore is beyond compare and it’s no surprise that choosing ‘the one’ is often one of the highlights of planning a wedding. However, there’s a new highlight in town because Brides The Show is back at the Business Design Centre in Islington 2-4 October and I promise you that it’s going to be bridal fashion heaven…

The range of bridal designers who’ll be exhibiting at Brides The Show this October is truly fantastic and there’s no boutique in the country where you’d be able to see such a fabulous selection of styles from such illustrious names. Being able to get up close and personal to the gowns and, in many cases, meet the designers themselves is an opportunity not to be missed.
Love My Dress favourites such as Halfpenny London and Katya Katya Shehurina will be in attendance along with a whole host of designers that we just love such as Catherine Deane, My Eden, Charlotte Simpson, Naomi Neoh, Charlie Brear and Olwen Bourke. Acclaimed bridal labels such as Suzanne Neville, Ian Stuart, Sassi Holford and Stephanie Allin will also be showcasing their latest collections. How you’re going to choose which stand to visit first, I really don’t know.
Another highlight of Brides The Show this October is going to come courtesy of the amazing Jenny Packham. Jenny’s designs are beloved by many, from celebrities to brides, industry insiders and casual observers, and with good reason. Jenny Packham will showcase her 2016 New York Bridal Week catwalk show, including a recreating of her brilliant A Midsummer Night’s Dream set but, most excitingly, there will also be designs created by Jenny just for Brides The Show on display. Brides The Show makes a great day out for brides and maids and, if you’re coming along with your best girls then there’s plenty for them as well. Maids To Measure, Not Another Boring Bridesmaid Dress and twobirds will be showing their stylish gowns and, for impossibly cute outfits for flowergirls, Little Bevan has everything you need.
You’ll also be spoiled for choice at Brides The Show if you’re looking for accessories – shoes from the likes of Freya Rose, accessories from the wonderful Lila and Harriet Kelsall are all there to tempt you and there’s even some fashion for the guys too.

One of the undoubted highlights of Brides The Show is the catwalk and these jaw-dropping runway shows, created and styled by Bride’s fashion director Bryony Toogood, take place throughout the weekend. You’ll see gowns from all the designers mentioned above in action and if you book a Gold VIP ticket to the show, you’ll be treated to a reserved seat in the front two rows so you can enjoy a great view of the catwalk whilst you sip your glass of bubbly.
