The wedding world is an ever changing, ever evolving industry and one of the things that I love most about being a tiny part of it is seeing the energy and passion that so many suppliers and retailers pour into their businesses. It really is inspiring so, when a brand we know and love wants to share the wonderful results of their work with us, we jump at the chance to see what they’ve been up to. Today, I’m delighted to show you what the fantastic team at Cicily Bridal in Leicestershire has been busy with over the summer.
Halfpenny London
Cicily Bridal has certainly come a long way since opening its doors back in 2011 and it’s now one of the must-visit bridal boutiques in the Midlands. Owners Lisa and Victoria have created a boutique for brides who, like themselves, are inspired by fashion, modern styling and real individuality.
“Our brides bring us so much energy,” says Lisa. “We never forget the romance of weddings but we want to deliver the future of bridal fashion. Where there was once vintage, there’s now the need for boho and retro styling and where wedding magazines once provided all the ideas, there’s now the virtual world of blogs, Pinterest and Instagram. So, summer was the perfect time for a little re-style at Cicily Bridal.”

Firstly, Lisa and Victoria wanted to bring new brands to the boutique and as fashion is at the heart of the Cicily Bridal brand, this was the first part of the new look. They now curate an enviable collection of designers including Halfpenny London and Jesus Peiro plus an expanded selection from the lovely Charlie Brear in addition to the beautiful gowns from long-standing Cicily Bridal favourites, Naomi Neoh, Eliza Jane Howell and Augusta Jones.

Lisa and Victoria felt that these stunning collections needed an equally stunning home that reflected the distinctive style of the gowns so a change of décor and layout was in order. The Cicily Bridal boutique has been redesigned so that it appealing to brides and brings to life a little of the look we all see online.
“We’ve created a fabulous new consultation area where brides can really take time to discuss their wedding style ideas with the Cicily Bridal team,” says Victoria. “It’s easy to get excited when you’re surrounded by our gowns plus accessories from Marie Canning, Debbie Carlisle, Harriet Wilde and Rachel Simpson!”
The boutique’s new interiors are full of innovative displays that are every bride’s dream. Then, when you’re ready, you can step out of the showroom and into the calm and spacious changing rooms. Here you can relax, have some fun and escape from the everyday as you choose your bridal look with the experts from Cicily Bridal on hand to guide you through every aspect of styling and selection.
And the team haven’t just been busy choosing new designers and redesigning the boutique because today sees the completion of the re-style as the new Cicily Bridal website launches! It’s full of beautifully bold images and super clean lines that are absolutely on-trend, easy to navigate and totally reflective of the Cicily Bridal brand – fashion-led, modern and most of all, truly in touch with what brides want.
