Hello lovely ones! Thanks so much for your patience with the slightly disrupted blogging schedule over the last few days and for the remainder of this week too, as I spend time at New York Bridal Market. I’m out here to view the brand new collections of our sponsors and to meet with wonderful new wedding brands to introduce you to through Love My Dress and our beautiful new supplier/vendor directory, Little Book For Brides® too.
Whilst I’ve been out here, one British designer I’ve been missing very much indeed is the wonderful Halfpenny London. Having spent time with Kate and her team this time last year in New York, she has been a face and bubbly personality very much missed this season. But it’s OK, because my lovely friend and talented photographer Emma Pilkington sent these images through recently which beautifully capture some of Kate’s most elegant designs.

These photographs were styled by Lucy Cowan of The White Closet in West Didsbury – a most beautiful boutique stocking some of our very favourite designers, and that has been opening its doors to stylish brides for the last five and a half years.
As a big support of British bridal boutiques, I was excited to discover that The White Closet have plans to open a new boutique in the creative city of Liverpool. Their beautiful new Rodney Street store will host an innovative and fashion-forward bridal studio, exclusively showcasing some of the bridal industries most chic and exciting labels.
Lucy worked with photographer Emma Pilkington on these shots, which I absolutely adore. The White Closet supports and sells several wonderful British brands but these images showcase some of the most beautiful Halfpenny London gowns. I thought you might appreciate these images this Tuesday evening. You’re welcome 🙂
